    Reds 0, Mets 4. Santana pitched 7, gave up 5 hits and 0 runs. -Yankees were battered 14-8 by the Los Angeles Angels not of Los Angeles. -Whte Sox lead 8-5, bottom of the 9th in Minnesota. -Red Sox up 12-8 in the 8th at home to KC. -Cubs beat the Cards 5-2.

    Giants Madden 10 ratings Think they're all decent enough. Only one I reckon should be higher/lower is Aaron Ross' being put up a bit. Same for Hixon and maybe Smith. Hixon's is ajoke, especially his speed rating!

    Definitly PES over FIFA a few years ago, but FIFA has definitly taken over now. Still not impressed with the movement of players though, it seems like they can only move in 8 directions kinda thing, very robot-like.. but it's a game and it'll never be perfect I suppose.

    That Green Bay game was fantastic, I didn't get to sleep at all, though I was somewhat disappointed thinking "it'll ne nice to see us there, but there's zero chance we win it". Is it just me that hates Joe Buck as a commentator? He shows no emotion whatsoever, unless the Cowboys do something and just spends the whole game doing what he can to try and get Troy Aikman to go to bed with him. Awful, awful, awful commentator.

    Newcastle fans clearly know best. They wanted Freddy Sheppard out as they were sick of UEFA Cup/mid-table finishes, they got their 'saviour' in Newcastle "fan" Ashley. They were then sick of Big Sams 'guarenteed to be a decent side, but boring football' tactics, so they bought in Messiah 1 and Messiah 2, who combined for a swift and no-nonesense relegation. What great fans. "**** the club, as long as we're happy, that's all that matters".

    According to this it could be a possibility. He's going to see Richard Steadman, is that the same guy that did Luke Moores surgery a few years back? EDIT: No surgery needed according to Mets.com.

    I just really don't rate him, alot of my United mates don't either. He was fortunate at United that he was playing with some of the Worlds best. Wright-Phillips and Santa Cruz are no Ronaldo and Rooney and he'll suffer because of it. Hard worker, few fancy flicks, but he's nothing great in my opinion.. he's also been awful everytime he's been to VP. Tevez over Robinho? Even when Robinho can't be arsed he's more effective, in my opinion.

    Fitzy! 8) Mets are currently 5-2 down after taking a 2-0 lead in the first, we're on a 4 game losing streak an dhave slipped into 3rd in the NLE.. on the plus side, David Wright actually hit a home run tonight, only his 5th of the season.. We need Reyes and co back ASAP. EDIT: Oh, quick mention for Mo Rivera too. He picked up his 500th (2nd all-time) career save in a win over the Mets a few days back. Well done to him.

    Tevez? Maybe Eto'o too. I can't see Eto'o going there, I believe he said he wants to stay at Barca. Don't think they will get any Class A players, Robinho will a stroke of luck since he wanted out and Madrid refuses to accept a bid from Chelsea. Tevez.. I don't rate him very highly at all. He's not a tenth of what Robinho is, a worse winger than SWP and is about as useful as a fish as a lone striker.. could strengthen the bench though I suppose.

    Given Richards Kompany Lescott Bridge De Jong Barry Ireland Wright-Phillips Santa Cruz Robinho Taylor, Onuoha, Garrido, Zabaletta, Petrov, Fernandes, Bellamy. It actually looks like a fairly decent side to be honest, alot of good, young players rather than massivel, high-profiled, mercenaries. This is if the likes of Dunne, Johnson and Jo leave as well, so they could be stronger, even if they don't get Lescott they'll still be very good.

    Ireland, Barry plus one of Kompany/De Jong will be the midfield 3 I reckon. Kompany and De Jong don't go forward half as well as Ireland and don't have the creativity of Barry, so they'll have to fight each other for the last place Ireland and Barry are nailed on to start in most games, in my opinion.

    Completely forgot he was even there let alone 65k a week! :shock: I'm almost starting to think they're such a joke and so shit on purpose. I'm not sure it's even possible for a club to make such awful, awful decisions on a consistant basis over such a long period of time.

    Thanks again Levi, you're better than wikipedia. Mets lead the Card 3-2, top of the 9th. K-Rod has 7 pitches, 6 strikes, 2 outs. He's the man! EDIT: Intentional walk to Pujols.. then walks Ludwick, now I'm **** nervous again! EDIT 2: 3 out, game over, Mets win.. I was never worried..
