It's called character. Something the steroid-using Yankees and their tourist, glory-seeking fans know nothing about. I should have posted this right after the 15-0 thumping we gave you but anyway; He's right about the fans though. I watched a video on the net the other day with some guy interviewing people outside of Yankees Stadium before the last ever Yankees/Sox game. He asked all of them what their favourite memory of the place was and they all said the same thing "Well, this is my first time here.."

After the thumping defeat by the Yankees on Sunday night, we picked up the win in Baltimore, while the Phillies are 8-3 down in the 10th against Toronto.

Couldn't find the Super Bowl 42 thread, so I just put it here.. is a video of a Boston Sports fan, 'Fitzy', doing a webcast after the Patriots loss to Big Blue in the Super Bowl, very, very funny I though. He's actually got quite alot of hilarious videos.

There is some very funny stuff in there. I think my main dislike for them is the same as Newcastle. The fans and media seem to portay them as if they were United/Yankees.. yet they never win anything! Obviously this may not be true to the Cubs in general as I don't really get much US sports on tv here, but I like the Sox and everything they've been saying in your posts seems to ring true with my feelings about them, in general. Oh, and don't compare Villa/Cubs and sha/Sox again..

Mets with yet another heart-breaking loss.. leading the Yankees in the 9th, an error with 2 outs gives them the opportunity to score twice and win them the game. Thankfully the Red Sox did us a favour with an extra innings win over Philly. Also, is it a general thing to hate the Cubs, or is that just me? Something about them makes me really, really hate them.

Current standings (inc. tonights results) One thing I've never understood. When you have 30 teams and 6 divisions, why not have 6 divisions of 5 teams? Instead, having it the way they do, it makes the conferences a bit lob-sided.. doesn't make sense to me. Also, alot of my friends complain about how the interleague play is 'fixed', is it not like the NFL where they have a rotation and teams opponents are just picked?

Ah, I see, that sort of makes sense then. Hopefully sha don't try anything like that, I believe they've some sort of gypsy curse on them. Although, I think it's more than just a curse as to why they win **** all. Of all those songs you posted, I believe Tessie is the only one I've heard, very catchy and stuck in my head from MVP Baseball 2005!

Oh for **** sake, Ibanez 3-run homer in the 10th, Phillies lead 6-3. 2nd straight game we've lead late on, then got pegged back into extra innings before giving up a HR. Collapsotastic.

Sox lead the Yankees 1-0, top of the 7th. Ortiz hit a home run over in the.. 3rd? I think. Red Sox have won both games in the 3 game series so far. Mets and Phillies are tied at 3 at the end of the 8th, they've split the series 1 each so far. Let's go Mets!

Whats the record like between the Yankees and Red Sox over the last 5 years or so? I don't think I've seen them beat you too often at all, which is surprising really, considerin how many times you play.

100% England and Villa will never play each other competitvely, so there's no club vs country thing for me. People may say players get injured on international duty.. so? they could get injured in training for the club and mis an England game, which would annoy me just as much. The most annoying thing I've ever heard is "I will start supporting England when they start playing good football again". Bloody glory hunters.
