  1. It's never going to get old.. I will go with.. Mark Hughes. Some of their stars don't show up away, being 12th or so after about 10 games won't be good enough for their owner.
  2. You do look bloody different! Didn't know you'd cut your hair seeing as the last time I saw you, you were all Scoobified.
  3. Redknapp by miles. Benitez is bad, but at least he is a pretty decent manager to be fair, not great but decent enough. Redknapp is shit, but thinks he's some sort of footballing God.
  4. That first one... Well, made I laugh a lot anyway. Yeah, very funny.
  5. Not just picking on you, but I don't understand comments like this. MON has basically got a completely new squad of players than what DOL had, we've goe from relegation battling to successive top 6 finishes.. yet his transfers are crap? Well, there's something missing there then, unless Barry is single handedly doing it for us. He's taken us up qute a few levels already and there's nothing to suggest he won't take us further.
  6. Of course I'd want MON to stay! 3 years ago if I were offered 5th/6th then I'd have taken it righ there and then. MON has done a superb job and I believe he will continue to do so, he aint failed anywhere and it aint about change.
  7. Yeah, you could have at least found a real legend like Balaban or Ridgewell.
  8. No appeal allowed apparently. Gutted. This ref has been piss poor all night to be honest.
  9. Shocking decision, por Fletcher, can that be overturned?

To be fair, you get that everywhere. If someone is playing well, fans love them, as soon as they aren't, the fans let them know what they think. Sox lead 4-3, Damon and Texiera with back-to-back HRs

Pedroia(?) let the ball run through his legs, allowing 2 runs to score. Yankees lead 10-9, top of the 7th, 2 out.

The Red Sox are quite incredible when it comes to comebacks, still hope the Yankees hold on!
  14. Must have missed that first time around.

Been an admirer of the White Sox for a while now, but followed the results of the Mets/Yankees. My recent trip to New York has definitly turned me into a full-time Mets fan though!
  16. Possibly. This season it's probably been Liverpool who I hate the most, but that may be due to the Barry thing, generally I would say Albion - of the teams currently in the Premier League - are the team I hate the most, so I'll say yes.

That's a shame, I really enjoyed their coverage. Looks like NASN all the way this season then, or ESPN America, whatever they call it now.

Just a question to our New Yorkers on here.. I'm over in NY for 2 weeks starting Thursday and wondered hat chances I have of getting to see either the Yankees or Mets? I don't have a clue on how difficult tickets are to get or the pricing, so any help would be appreciated! Cheers.
