    Shorts

Usually only on holiday really. Don't wear them for footy since I usually play on astro turf, not exactly something you want to be sliding around on in shorts.
  2. That's it! I was trying to remember the name of that game!
  3. Looks impressive. I like large open games where you're in a World of sorts that you're free to roam. Unfortunately I'm never any good at them. Never completed Metroid Prime 1 or 2, Zelda:TWW or Zelda:TP. Very cool story behind it, getting to play one of the Four Horsemen, awesome!

    Baseball

It's a shame players are still getting in by name. I'm hoping both the Yankees and Red Sox make post-season, nothing like a big rivalry series in the playoffs!
  5. That's like trying to say "small key beer can" without sounding like a jamaican saying "smoky bacon" ..and "whale oil beef hooked" without sounding like an Irishman saying "Well I'll be ****"
  6. To be honest, the English style of football must work to an extent. I bet about 60% of the Semi Finalists over the last 5 or so years have been English. Barca were great today, but when Giggs and Anderson are playing in the middle.. what was SAF thinking?
  7. "-- If Barcelona win, manager Pep Guardiola, aged 38 years and 129 days, will be the youngest manager for 49 years to lift the trophy and the third youngest of all time. Miguel Munoz was 38 years and 121 days old when he led Real Madrid to their 1960 triumph." Taken from here
  8. Sparey, did you go to the Boro game? If so, what coach number were you on, I definitly recognise you?
  9. I do think they deserved to be in the final when looking at the way they play football. Although some of the decisions made against Chelsea were awful. Yet Barca should have had a penalty in the first leg. It swings in roundabouts although I do see what you are saying. At least Barca haven't had a rich sugar daddy take over and turn them from a non-existant club into league challengers (like Chelski). Fair play to Barca on the night as I think they have been the best team in Europe all season. They could only play what was put infront of them and they could only accept the decisions made by the refs. Barca should have had a peno i the first leg, I agree. But it doesn't really matter when you probably need to use 2 hands to count the amount of penalties Chelsea should have had! I think that's a bit harsh on Chelsea. Barca have a tonne of money and always have, just because they've been a richer club longer than Chelsea doesn't mean they haven't bought their way into the Champions League, they have, same as most top clubs. Watching Barca today, they seem unbeatable. On the ball it's clear to see how good they are, but it's off the ball that's amazing. Everytime United got the ball, they just chased it and gave no relent until they won it back, amazing stuff. What a year for Xavi and Iniesta.
  10. Why shouldnt they have been there? The SF at The Bridge was bordering on a fix, I don't think even Liverpool have had a game go that ridiculously one-sided in terms of reffing decisions. I don't think they should have been in the final, but they deserved the final win without question.
  11. Well done to Barca, totally deserved (even if they shouldn't have been there).
  12. I'm actually quite looking forward to this one alot to be honest. Surprised it's not been, or at least doesn't seem, as hyped up as finals in recent years. By the way, you're pleasently tolerable for a United fan Stretford.
  13. I have one song each of Deff Leppard, Duran Duran and Journey on my iPod.
  14. I would personally have given it to Hodgson, but to say Moyes doesn't deserve this sort of recognition would be wide of the mark, well done to him.
  15. Very interesting that, Levi. Champions! Champions!
  16. That's a joke! That's not even enough for Villa season ticket holders and I'm assuming not for all Everton season ticket holders either.. that's a disrgrace, I didn't realise the allocations were that low.
  17. Try the last 3 and a half months without Arteta! We went the whole season without him.
  18. Everton talk in here since the other clubs speculation/transfer thread is now full of Everton stuff.. Everton are gay because they keep finishing above us.
  19. Cheers dude, mucho appreciated. I went to bed with it (all 160 megs for 10 minutes) uploading to rapidshare and my internet connection crapped out... I think I might break it into 10 or so files and upload them individually. Somebody uploaded it (in HD, no less) to youtube Thanks man, much appreciated.
  20. That's how I'm beginning to feel. A few years ago I'd want the foreign side to win (Barca over Arsenal, Milan over Liverpool, etc.) but with the way the English sides, and this league, seems to be treated by UEFA and co. it's almost an England vs scenario.
  21. I disagree. We finished, what, 10 points behind Arsenal? When you consider they had a 20-odd game unbeaten streak while we won only 2 of our last 13, it suggests that if we even have an average run we could catch up. I'd say qualifying for Europe, even 8th would be somewhat acceptable if Spurs and Citeh spend the money, as Everton will be up there again along with the bi4 g.
  22. United. Both sides are great in the middle and up front, the difference is the defense. BUnited are inpenetrable at times, Barca are always likely to conceed, they also have both full-backs suspended for the final which don't help. United 2-1 Barca.
  23. Qualifying for Europe and a decent cup run (QFs in something). It's impossible to progress every year as that's what every team wants to do, we've had 3 progressive years under MON and hopefully it'll continue.. I just hope the fans will be bloody patient for a change.
  24. I was disappointed! Was hoping for Serra and Evans wins, not to be. Machida is pretty special though, he'll be a tough one to beat. Very much looking forward to the Mir/Lesnar title unifcationfight in a few months!
