    On the train back home after the game. Best we have played in a while. We missed our chances but we created plenty. They might have won but I look at the 2 teams and my money is on our style of play to get more points than theirs. It's a kick in the nads to lose that one but I am more confident now than I was after the Newcastle and Chelsea games where we were 2nd best. Still loads of games to go do you want to bet against us?

    He does but he has not used it for some reason maybe personnel available. Take the Newcastle game for instance not great from our perspective relentless energy and press from them. Last year they played the same and we bypassed the press by going long and put in one of our best performances under Unai. Whatever the reasons you have to trust the manager knows what he is doing under the bigger picture his record tells us this. We all have a moan in different ways when we lose its football even if we are losing during a game see match threads for this! Unai is a victim of his own success we are ahead of expectations now he needs to manage those expectations and I think he will.

    He misses Ramsey at the moment doing it all on his own. Once Ramsey is back on the left that side will improve.

    Don't matter what any of us think it's what The Don wants. If he sees him as another piece of the Jigsaw that takes us to the next level then so be it. Those low block teams we struggle against it's about moving them about to get the gaps to score. In Unai we trust.

    Trouble is Premier League fixtures are not set in stone like train timetables. Fixtures moved to accommodate TV and Europe. Also how big are the platforms for more carriages would 10 carriages fit at Witton and Aston? I agree with the idea though where there is a will there is a way.

    Is there a reason the buses can't line up on Witton Lane upto the island like the old days? Personally I park miles away off Rocky Lane just easier to escape after games never understood the need to park close and sit in traffic. Sometimes I will get the train but can never be arsed to que after the game so either walk back to New Street or get a lift with a mate that's driven who would also park miles away! Seems they are allowing traffic down roads after games these days thinking of under the A38 to turn right past The Aston Tavern that never used to happen. Causes chaos.

    I am sure that will happen with us Unai has only been here a year and is putting in the work behind the scenes. We are signing these young players with the hope they fit in seamlessly too after getting used to what we are about.

    I am happy with the draw nice warm up to blow off the cobwebs before Newcastle. In the hat for the 5th round. Replay at home where we are strong. Weekend not ruined can watch other games with interest still. UTV

    There is previous to this we lost to West Ham in the League Cup on pens in 1999 but they fielded Onoyimni who was eligible. Won the replay I know this as went to both games
