Have you seen their December games before playing us on the 28th December? They play - Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and finally us. What a rough trot of games that is before January. They could be hovering around the bottom 3 teams come the New Year.

It’s noticeable that after a gruelling Christmas schedule, we play Brentford on Sunday 2 January at 14:00, whereas United play Wolves on Monday 3 January at 17:30. Could the extra rest be significant? It’s a crap draw considering but they won’t fancy playing us either I suspect.

Great to see his name being mentioned again and him getting some minutes this evening.

Can’t see them getting a result this evening. A lot of negativity around that club at present.

First and foremost, a home game please.

Think we also need to remember that Leicester are missing some important players at present: Tielemans, Pereira, Justin, Fofana. Vardy was rested also. It does affect the balance when key players are missing. Take nothing away from us yesterday though, as our second half display was outstanding. Signs are good that we could be the top Midlands side this season.

Set plays for and against is much improved over the last four games. Gerrard quickly identified a weakness and rectified it. Impressive.

Few truths said at half-time he said. Cash was out of position a few times in that first half and giving Barnes space to play. Watkins first half wasn’t great but much improved second half and ran them ragged. Only guessing really?

Surely he’ll sign an improved contract soon? Why would anyone want to leave at this point in time. He can learn so much from Gerrard.

Not fearing this at all. Bring it on. Not saying a win but we’ll certainly give them a tough game and I think we’ll get something.

The second half against Man City and especially today, we completely bossed. The crowd were immense. Gerrard has injected something into the club that’s absolutely infectious. The fans and players are certainly buying into it, and it’s making for a great cocktail. Over the next few weeks/months, nobody is going to fancy playing us.

I think that’s perhaps harsh but all about opinions. Personally I think he was faultless today.

Not sure where to post this but it was a lump in the throat time on the sixth minute. Players, fans all united in a very emotional tribute. Very well done to everyone today

He demands a certain level from everyone. If standards drop, you’re out the team and possibly out of the club. Looking like a masterstroke appointment at the moment. He’s reignited our season.
