    If we need to save/make £20-50m this season (as per the PSR thread), then surely money is always an issue?

    A second floor would be amazing. They could then stock a lot more different stuff rather than just the kit.

    I disagree. Archer was net neutral this summer, came in for £9-14m and sold for £15m. So a very small profit. We didn't have his wages last year and don't have his wages this year so overall no saving on wages. So there is no extra money from selling him to spend elsewhere.

It's quite a brave and possibly clever tactic - ignore the Ukranians in Kurst and just carry on getting what they want. It's not like Ukraine are going to do anything with Kursk, except it means Ukraine have less soldiers to defend their own front line.

    With prisons now full and lots more people to come into the prison system over the next couple of months, how do we solve the shortage of prison spaces? Jail less people? Build more prisons? Takes a long time to build. Shorter sentences? Overcrowd prisons further? Put some of the prison population somewhere else?

    600,000 Russians killed or injured in the war so far as at today's update, according to most media who seem to track that sort of stuff. I think Ukraine said they lose their own people at a 6:1 ratio, so they've also lost 100,000 people. That's like the whole of Manchester's population gone.

    I'm not sure for a PSR/SCR perspective. We still need that £20-50m saving in 24/25 for PSR purposes. One of the quickest ways to get compliant is simply sell/loan out a couple of players and don't replace.

    I think both clubs are very happy. They got Tim who was easily their MOTM and we got Onana who was our MOTM. They also got £50m when they desperately need that money to avoid points deductions and to keep the metaphorical 'lights on'.

    I wonder if we'll ever get the full £20m for him? If he goes out on loan, i guess that doesn't count to hitting the add-ons with Chelsea?

    Nah, they are so happy they have Tim. He got MOTM yesterday with 100% of the votes last time I looked! and funnily Onana got MOTM in our vote. Both teams very happy with our sale and purchases.

    Be aware that the match thread is generally a pit of doom and gloom. We will be the worst team in the universe at least 40 matches this season… until we score then we are the best team in the world
