I had heard all the headlines and social media reaction to this incident without seeing the tackle until 30 minutes ago. To be honest, I was expecting something a lot worse than what I saw. Mistimed and reckless but for me no intent. Being described as one of the worst tackles you will ever see is way wide of the mark. Like a few posters have alluded to, you will see worse tackles every week up and down the country without anyone breaking their leg.

It depends how you interpret 'good enough'. I think he's certainly got the natural talent and skill for the very top, but being a good player is a lot more than that. He's the most skillful player at the club...but he's just not that good imo....as in, no end product & no influence on games. Nathan Delfouneso had bucket loads of skill and natural talent...was he a good player?...was he better than gabby?....not in my opinion. I'd still persevere with him, and maybe with less pressure on him now he may get better...but I ain't holding my breath -

Xenophobic remainers, and very bitter! What do the english want?....we want the opposite. If we had voted to remain they would have still wanted another go at independence. They've just jumped on the anti brexit bandwagon to drum up more patriotic chest beating support...or try to!! What would be great to see is if they do have another stab at it and they still vote to stay in the UK.

Exactly this. From what I've read he's back in the country and wants to get fit, so why not let him train and see what he's got...if anything. I personally don't think we will sign him, but if we did I'm sure it would be as a pure back up measure. I don't get what everyone's getting so upset about, I really don't.

I think the older/more experienced you get, game playing becomes a real turn off...as in, the first sign of it you just walk away without even trying to work out what they're game is. Someone posted earlier, if you like someone and they like you then get together...it really is as simple as that. If it's not, then try another one

My advice in this situation is to play it with a straight bat....by that I mean be neutral, not nasty, not nice, just do what you have to do. She has the issues so it's down to her to offer any explanation etc. She knows where you are if she wants to pick things up again in the future, but my guess is you will have moved on.

Honestly, I'm not being funny with you, but I don't think you watched this guy close enough last season. I don't think he is the worst player to ever put on a villa shirt, but he certainly put in the worst performances of any villa player I've seen in 35 years.
