    Jury is out, but let's not forget Stan was pretty poor for 1-2 seasons when he first came in. Sometimes it takes a while for a player to rediscover their form. Fair to critique his performances so far though.

    We have enough attacking talent to field two teams. Should go full mega press, and be moving forward quickly every time in attack. At 60 mins, five of the players might be dying on their feet but we could still sub on fresh quality attackers. We'd rip teams apart and it'd be fun to watch.

    He's probably a better player technically now. He's worse to watch though. Also noted that one of the England players in an interview was talking about all the game changers they have in the squad - mentioned about five players and none of them were Jack.

    I agree with your general sentiment but I'd say this bit is debatable and a matter of perspective. There are no good and bad guys here, just arguably less shitty guys depending on where you live.

    Obviously they're on a high after beating city, huge achievement and story of the weekend. Can't even remember what we did, am sure it was nothing special and we drew with Luton or something. There's nothing magic about the dog shed that protects them - if we're serious about top 6 then we should be winning here.

    Our only two losses this season are barcodes and plop, both away. The one thing we've done well is winning games we'd expect to win.

    Pretty tough to write out a realistic profile of a backup keeper we'd be happy with. Emi is elite. Any young keeper who will be good enough to replace him in 3 years would be at Old Trafford already. Someone who could replace him in 7 years means betting on potential, and likely not ready for cup / European games against better opposition. Older keepers who can play our style and are good enough would probably require wages we don't want to pay for a depreciating asset. I'm not advocating for Olsen, but we're in a tricky spot because if how good Emi is.
