It's a matter of Inter trying to find a buyer for Sneijder and his massive wages or letting Coutinho and/or Alvarez go. If Sneijder accepts Galatasaray's offer, Coutinho could still be at Inter by the time this window closes. Edit: Haha didn't see your post there Crackpot. Doh!

UEFA fined Man City 30 thousand euros for being one minute late onto the pitch back in August 2012. UEFA fined FC Porto 20 thousand euros for their fans' racist chants against Balotelli and Yaya Toure one month earler. Nuff said.

The same thing happened after the Liverpool game. After a few good performances, everyone started putting valuations on players i.e. Benteke - saying we shouldn't sell him for less than 30 million. I can understand the enthusiasm, but the 3 games that followed really shattered that idea. Just enjoy the performances and think about valuations if/when it comes to that.

Just seen the highlights of the goals, and it's been said time and time again but if that was RVP who scored the goal that Weimann did, the press would be jizzing their pants. To get the placement, power and loop that Weimann got with his header was unbelievable skill, not to mention that he wasn't even looking at the goal when he did it. Cracking stuff.

Personally I'm a bit iffy on Lescott. I know he is quite a good Premier League defender, but for some reason, I feel he's prone to really bad errors once in a while - like a simple back pass to the keeper getting intercepted. I'm sure he's still better than what we got at the moment though.

Considering Mattyp_avfc seems to be the only person here who has actually seen him play (and play well at that), surely he's the only person who can have any valid opinion on the player. If we were to go for Sorensen, I hope he's able to come in and hit the ground running. That is key I think.

I honestly think he doesn't bother trying because he thinks - "What's the point? If I play decent, Lambert isn't going to pick me for the next game anyway, so why bother?" Not saying that Ireland is justified in thinking that, it's a pretty shit attitude to have. I can see him thinking that though.

We must do what we did to them when they came here. Pressure their midfield and defense. Give them no time on the ball. Can/will the players be arsed/confident enough to play this high pressing style? Who knows? 2-1 to them. -
