Personally, I don't think Bent's relegation from first team duties has anything to do with perceived attitude issues. I think it's his complete inability to play within the structure and game-plan that Lambert is implementing. Bent is a goal poacher (and a damn good one at that). Everyone knows this. Lambert (I believe) wants more mobile forwards who can drop back into midfield to help build up the attack. Bent is not this kind of forward. I don't think it's likely that Bent will change his style of play either. And Lambert won't change his system to fit Bent. My feeling is Lambert would rather take players on pre-season who will contribute to the footballing structure. Bent doesn't, and that's pretty much that. He will be gone I reckon. Even if it takes us the entire window to shift him. Best for him. Best for us. No ill will towards him either.

There's no suggestion Benteke is forcing a move away. He's simply handed in a transfer request, which we'll accept if our conditions are met. That's how football works, and until he actually starts acting up, there's nothing to suggest he's forcing anything. What he's done is making his desires known, it's up to us to either allow the transfer to happen or not. You could argue that Suarez us actually being a dick, not handing in a transfer request, while seemingly giving interviews to Uruguayan media, praising Madrid, and complaining about his reputation in England. Yes I'd rather Benteke did that.

Not strictly anime, since it's American, but Avatar: The Last Airbender is brilliant. The animation style has elements of Japanese anime, in the design of characters and monsters, and also takes inspiration from various Asian cultures for the story and mythology. Really good mix of humour, great characters, interesting story and beautiful animation. Probably one of the best cartoons I've watched. Highly recommend both the original series and the sequel series Legend of Korra. Also ignore the abomination that was the Hollywood live action movie.

I have had these same thoughts. The thing is, if he were to somehow still be here next season, would Lambert play him or send him to the reserves? For what it's worth, I don't think Lambert would cut off his nose to spite his face. From the statement on the website, it sounds like Lambert would still welcome him back into the fold if he were to remain. Personally, It'd be stupid not to play him when we know how much talent he has. Not sure the fans would be so forgiving though. That would be awkward, especially after some of the vitriol I've read (not necessarily here, more on Twitter).

I hope people don't lay into him if he's not.

Chelsea have Lukaku, Hazard, De Bruyne and Courtois. Probably one of them. Chelsea would be my hunch.

"Don't hate the playa, hate the game." That's how I look at it anyway. Bit of a kick in the balls, this. Honestly thought he would've given us another season. Unlike others though, if somehow he doesn't move on (i.e. no club meets our valuation of him), I wouldn't put him to rot in the reserves. He's far too talented for that. I'd hope that he'd show some professionalism and give 100% on the pitch until we sell him next season. Wishful thinking perhaps.

Well, the tweet above the one referred to just now is from Kagawa and says: 今日はわざわざ来てくれてありがとう！また一緒のベッドで寝ような！笑 Which means "Hi, thanks for coming especially [i.e. especially for this purpose]! Lol" So, yeah, could be good friends I guess And Kiyotake has since tweeted several times with details of his visit to a school in Fukushima, so it looks most likely that was "the place" he had arrived at!
