You could argue that this would be the perfect sort of match to give Carney his debut. End of season game, little riding on it-take Barkley out of the starting 11 and let Carney have a go, see what he's got! I'm not really one to say throw all the kids in but if Cash is going to be out for this one, maybe give Kesler a go too? It's looking more and more likely that Elmo won't be here next season and nobody is sure what's happening with Guilbert so why not? What they lack in experience i'm sure they would make up for in effort.

I didn't think it even looked like a foul? Looked more like it was caused by Hourihane stretching to reach the ball before Bacuna got to it after he miscontrolled the ball?

I'm sure i read something yesterday or the day before that Fenerbache are already looking at the possibility of selling him during the summer once his transfer is made permanent. Can't find where I read it unfortunately though so could be something my brain made up

I think the idea is that if City think they could sell him for £45mil but they have to pay £30mil to get him back off us, we could just pay City £15mil which would get rid of the clause moving forward.

Jack's best position is wide left. Why would we move him into the position Barkley plays?

According to Twitter (I know, I know.....) apparently Michael Olise at Reading has a release clause of just £8 million. If that's true we should 100% be all over that transfer.

If there's so little between them then we should absolutely be starting Ramsey ahead of Hourihane. We will benefit massively in the long run by giving Ramsay regular PL football.

Keep hoping he'll knuckle down and put some effort in but he just doesn't seem to have it in him. Can't wait to move players like him on.

We were at the absolute limit when it came to spending due to FFP. We spent everything we could spend, it wasn't a case of the owners being tight. I hope not anyway! -
I really hope that come the end of the transfer window that we're in a position to be able to send Keinan out on loan to find some goalscoring form. He's shown enough for me to think that in the long run he could be a very good player but without some sort of goalscoring return it would be very hard to accommodate him.
