  1. British transfer record to be abit part player, don't think so.
  2. They need him the least of any club in the league. That's what would drive you mad. I don't know what kind of plan they have for him and Foden. And I don't want any youth player nobody had heard of in the deal.
  3. A football career is limited in duration. When will Villa be in the Champions League? I guarantee Jack has had numerous people telling him he has to move for years, and he has said no.
  4. Jack should be playing at the highest level. That is not Villa. That is reality. From a purely footballing point of view, City have been the best match for him for at least 3 years. He's happy at Villa, he's comfortable, he's loved. But you need to move out of your comfort zone to achieve in this life.
  5. The thing with football is that it will always break your heart.
  6. I would seriously doubt this one. We play one up front and have one of the best men for playing that position in the league. Is Tammy going to come in as a sub? He's not getting Watkins out of the team. We don't have European games to have the luxury of players to rotate in and out. If we put Watkins wide then we are weakening 2 positions.
  7. What treatment of Kane? Not bending over for him, why should he.
  8. Leaving or not, why wouldn't he be training? I don't think it means much.
  9. What? The release clause, if it exists, would be from signing the contract last summer. If a club bid the amount required then the clause is met. I don't think it's actually open to interpretation like your pal thinks. The decision would rest with Jack entirely if the clause is met. £100 million is also serious money, breaking City and the PLs' record by a lot. Nobody can complain about the money side of it.
  10. Does he not play in the same position as Buendia?
  11. Emi Martinez still confuses me. What did he do at Arsenal? He has emerged as a beast and a leader but only really started his career in 2019.
  12. There is and it already exists. Spirits and low calorie mixer. Also Hard Seltzer is going to grow and grow I think. Even though it's just slightly flavoured sparkling water!
  13. The US women's team lost to FC Dallas U-15 boys team a few years ago. I'm not sure how you think a mixed league could happen.
  14. That's the way it goes with women's football. Just we haven't been paying attention. Usually deals are 1 or 2 years so players end up moving a lot.
  15. They have effectively paused the pandemic. But where do they go from here? Low vaccine supply and low uptake. I don't know how they exit this.
  16. He's a defensive midfielder, or is that defender in midfield. It's 5 at the back without calling it that. Which I don't necessarily mind but don't put Phillips beside him to do the same job with the occasional crossing of the half way line.
  17. What a shit team. Who's meant to attack from midfield? Just going to leave the middle of the field empty?
  18. I have to say, we have a good team behind the scenes. You might get one day notice before we sign someone. Not much drawn out transfers these days.
  19. Rafa heavily linked now. That will be a very brave move!
  20. The only thing Scotland are battering is their mars bars.
  21. It's a tall part of the world, they love their basketball!
  22. I think he will easily get a PL team. Too many managers love a good set piece.
