  1. Tom Heaton signs a new contract at Burnley.
  2. Arsenal need a player who puts a bit of fear in the opposition and Vidal is a player like that. They need grit and fight to push them on, Vidal is a leader by example and he would give a big lift to what would be perceived as a slightly soft team. But it looks like bullshit. Well it's certainly bullshit for 21 million.

    Liverpool

Liverpool, believe it or not, are a big club who make a lot of money.
  4. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-city/11703664/.html Bizarre because this is in the same paper. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/aston-villa/11703751/Aston-Villa-midfielder-Fabian-Delph-on-brink-of-joining-Manchester-City...-for-just-8m.html
  5. He is going back to a former club at least. thought it was Middlesbrough from your post Boro and Sunderland both want him.
  6. You'll often see the promoted teams spend big money on players from the league they got out of. Not necessarily a clever policy. Although he is highly rated.
  7. Feels like a different show, less subtle but still could be great.
  8. Arsenal are fine for homegrown. Szczesny is just an Arsenal boy, he won't be got rid of that easy.
  9. They'd have to break their transfer record.
  10. Shclupp and N'zonzi are decent links if true. Along with Richards there might be a push to improve the team physically.
  11. It seems to be getting to a point where the clubs that could sign him are running out. City, Chelsea and Arsenal don't seem to be in the running at all, United have been very loosely linked, while Liverpool and Spurs seem unlikely to spend the 32.5 million. The big but not elite European clubs just don't spend that kind of money. Liverpool still seem the most likely destination but if the Llorente link proves true then it shows they are seeking what they deem better value.
  12. A signing like him will not be regarded as cover, not with those wages.
  13. So about 10 games then? For me he's a right back, shouldn't even be in contention for CB.
  14. The problem with Richards is he's chronically injured or unfit, he's too bulky for a footballer. He's played 19 league games in 4 years.
  15. American owners have never spent mad money in the PL. Bring on the Chinese, would certainly be more interesting.
  16. Barcelona played only national champions on their way to win the champions league this year. They beat the Italian, German, French, English, Dutch and Cypriot league winners.
  17. I'm sure he just keeping his options open by talking to Everton. Of course if they are paying hefty wages his mind will be made up.
  18. One of his best ever and that is saying something.
  19. It'd be extremely unlikely he'd oust Costa or be played in the same team as him at Chelsea. But then Chelsea can spend a fortune on a substitute without blinking so who knows. Also when Chelsea want a player they tend to just pay what ever is asked with very little arseing about.
  20. Not resting any players was ridiculous when the game was meaningless. But if our best players do play then a performance is expected. We have little momentum now for the final, it's hard to just turn on the form on the day.
  21. Where is this man? I think he's a solid defender, his lack of ability going forward is probably what is going against him. He could rotate with Bacuna depending on the opposition, for next season.
  22. If Sam walks away then there is a good chance. He's not walking away, they don't want him.
