Sterling is a headless chicken at times so his pace is irrelevant when there’s little end product. Jack may not have his pace but there’s far more likelihood of Jack providing an opportunity than there is Sterling. Our very own GA11 had pace to burn but didn’t deliver often enough. -

Rashford wearing the armband yesterday is a sure sign he’ll start ahead of Jack. as one if the commentators mentioned yesterday, his decision making has been poor. But he’ll no doubt get to start. Southgate is clueless. -

Spoke to him at The Reading Festival a couple of days after the home victory over Everton. He was in front of me in the queue for beer. A genuine guy who was happy to chat about the game and humbly thanked me for saying he played well in the game. I wish him success for the remainder of his career.

I saw architects plans that were drawn up a few years ago and if the redevelopment reflects those plans then we’ll have a fantastic stadium. It was the same studio that designed The Holte!

Like many young overseas players he needed time to adjust to the PL. The game at Turf Moor when he got injured he was dominating a centre half partnership that have been and still are on the fringes of the England team.
