    Hopefully his last appearance in a Villa shirt. The dive was embarrassingly shameful, I never want to see any Villa player attempting to cheat like Trez today.. He’s league 1 standard at best. Turkish league would be ideal for him.

    He’s not. JG before his move was better than Sterling. Sterling’s decision making is poor, his assists were inferior, given the choice I’d have JG over RS.

    I’ve always defended Westwood as I believe he received a lot of unfair stick but Doug is light years better than Westwood.

    I stopped listening to TalkShite a long time ago as I can’t stand the majority of the presenters however I’d make an exception for Jordan. He’s head and shoulders above all the muppets on that station. Always respectful about Villa, recognises Small Heath as being the tinpot rabble they are, his opinions generally are well thought out and backed up with facts. Still not enough to make me switch over from Radio X though.

    I don’t think Gerard would cut him as much slack as Deano did either. He isn’t going to fully reach his potential unless he curbs his lifestyle. And I don’t think he can.

    Lost 1-0 against a very good team, had to endure 90 mins of a knob head sitting behind me slagging every aspect of our performance Having got home and read this thread there’s several posters that could’ve been him….

    Caught 5 minutes of the show tonight by mistake, had the pleasure of listening to the footballing oracle that is Pete. He really is something special isn’t he, probably a ginger 4 eyed single child that was hated at school. Mate.

    As sad as it is that Deano has gone, let’s not forget our recent tactics revolved around Cash launching long throws into the box. The days of setting traps, creating overloads etc were long gone.

    Whilst this is very true, the bigger and more concerning issue for me is our form over the calendar months. Sadly I think Dean has reached his ceiling with us and if we are to progress then we need a change of manager and coaching staff.
