how to beat the bookmaker

Ah well, Dunraven won that well. Good shout on him Snowy. Think that Ascot race from earlier in the month is worth following the runners.

Cheers. Just watched the replay and it seemed a slightly bizarre race - they lobbed along for the first mile or so, where Dunraven just walked through two of the flights, and then when they quickened up, the horse seemed to jump much better.

As you say, it will be interesting to keep an eye on the runners from that earlier race - Chris Pea Green (2nd in it) is entered for a race at Newbury on Thursday according to ATR.

V decent day for you.

p.s. Very disappointing run from Purple Bay.

Oh and Ballycasey makes his debut on Sunday at Navan

Mullins in the racing post

"We've been looking forward to getting Ballycasey started over fences in the 1.55 at Navan. He schooled after racing at Punchestown on Sunday when Katie Walsh rode him and the only word to describe the way he performed is awesome. Hopefully he'll be able to replicate that display tomorrow"

I topped up some more for the RSA @ 25/1 and also did more double with Faugheen for the Neptune 390/1 the double. Mullins won both races in 2010, lets hope for the repeat  ;)

why do betting sites ban people from betting on them?

You may well be very well versed in choosing horses, but surely if you're risking your own money then they cannot say "nah, you win too much" can they?

They do the same in Vegas, Casino's/Bookmakers don't like you winning :-)

Depends on how smart the bookie is... There are ones that try to get sharp action...

I make a lot more working in Finance in London that I will with a bookmaker though Levi, can still bet at the same time too.

They get what they need though, Stan James have defo market my card. Dunno how many times they cut a horses odds 2 mins after I back it. Defo marked my account, which is fine as they still let me bet.

A few good years beating Pinnacle got them to offer me $50k a year plus a share of the profits (based on what I was making and adjusting the edge, $200k tax free was likely).

I turned it down because I'd have to move to Curacao and I hate tropical climates.

Loving your work cv.

wish I had the spare money plus the guts to play every bet.

Had another £15 in the account today so put £5 each on 3 of your picks:

Kris cross @7/1

Two rockers @ 6/1

Mistral raine @ 8/1

Would be over the moon with one win

The last net I had was on your first pick that came 2nd so hopefully I'm not bad luck
