  1. I think from the laws of the game the freekick position was correct. It is only an offence when he becomes involved in play even thought he act of being offside has to occur in their half. so when he touched the ball in our half he was involved in play. the laws of the game say: 2. Offside offence A player in an offside position at the moment the ball is played or touched* by a team-mate is only penalised on becoming involved in active play by: interfering with play by playing or touching a ball passed or touched by a team-mate 4. Offences and sanctions If an offside offence occurs, the referee awards an indirect free kick where the offence occurred, including if it is in the player’s own half of the field of play. Law 11 - Offside (thefa.com)
  2. Derby V Fulham next weekend should be interesting In our next 6 games we have Wolves and 5 teams in the bottom half of the table, This really is the time we need to pick up points if we want to go up.

Seems we don't have enough scarves for everyone who got a ticket in our allocation, I've just had an email saying that due to the fact we got extra tickets, there aren't enough scarves and the block I am seated in won't have a scarf on their seat. We will get a voucher for a scarf at the club shop after the final, but I expect the won't be souvenir ones. Classic planning from the club......
  4. So we see over the last 2 weeks how both Sunderland and Leicester put pressure on the other teams by winning the early kick off. We get our chance and completely embarrass ourselves. Way to go Villa....

    Tickets

So does anyone know how may season ticket holders we actually have?
  6. So who are the 4 players who were younger than him in the premier league? I can only see Matthew Briggs as the youngest, 16 years and 65 days, so he was older than RHM if the age above is correct?
  7. Sounds more like "now" to me, which fits more with what he is saying. "But now people understand...." People are just looking for a story that isn't there
  8. A Chelsea win in against Liverpool will still mean they are in the title race, having to play both Norwich and Cardiff, would be nice if they were still had something to play for in those games, but would also mean Man city are back in it, and well that could mean a battering of our goal difference
  9. I have done that on the next manager market for Villa on the last 2 appointments, though the McLeish appointment ended badly as I though it would never happen and he was the only person I actually had liability on.....
  10. New patch today, lets hope it deals with some of the Match Engine issues
