Sure he could fancy managing for a couple of months before getting the sack and taking a winter break and then returning to some other desperate club to try and save them from relegation. Took over after 26 games and got 22 out of 36 points from the last 12 having lost 2 out of the first 3 might not be stellar but hardly a flop IMO.
