The_Rev
Cann table for the league after 24 games, this season and last. I'd imagine most people know how to read it, it places emphasis on points gained rather than position in the table and it shows up the gaps between clubs more accurately. It also shows some interesting comparisons between seasons. Obviously Manchester United are doing much worse (-19 points) while Liverpool (+12 points) and Arsenal (+17 points) are doing much better than they were this time last year, but how about Spurs? Two places lower in the table than they were at the equivalent point last season but they have actually collected more points this time round.
The_Rev
The last time Manchester United didn't have a youth academy graduate in their match day squad was in October 1937, or 3677 games ago. I presume that was the game before Ryan Giggs made his debut. (sauce)
