PuntersAdvice
If Aston Villa fail to score on Sunday they will equal their longest run of matches without a goal in Premier League history.

Zatman
When was that record set? Last year or the year before? as over 3.5 games since last goal im sure it was earlier in the season Edited February 27, 2014 by Zatman
The_Rev
Taken from Reddit: Cristiano Ronaldo after the match against Schalke: • Cristiano Ronaldo scores his 10th and 11th Champions League goal in the season. 6 Appearances, 11 Goals. • Cristiano Ronaldo got his 3rd Champions League assist. • Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored against every team he has faced for Real Madrid, except against Dinamo Zagreb (46 out of 47). • Cristiano Ronaldo (72) has now more assists than Mesut Özil (71) for Real Madrid. • Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 25 goals in 24 AWAY Champions League appearances for Real Madrid. • Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored 46 Champions League goals in 46 Appearances for Real Madrid. • Cristiano Ronaldo (11) is 3 goals shy of Lionel Messi's Champions League goal record of 14 Goals. (for a single season, I presume) • HISTORY - Cristiano Ronaldo is the 1st player in all history of Champions League to score 10+ goals in 3 consecutive seasons. • HISTORY - Cristiano Ronaldo is the 1st player in Real Madrid’s history to score 14+ braces in a European competition. The_Rev
As it stands today, the player with the most goals in the Premier League, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 also happens to be the player with the most assists. Namely Luis Suarez, Robert Lewandowski and Zlatan.
Rovers13
Lewandowski really has an underrated all around game. He's no zlatan, but he's more complete that falcao or probably cavani.
Guest av1
If Arsenal win the FA Cup it will be without leaving London (4 home draws, 2 in Wembley). Must be very rare, maybe a first?

The_Rev
They are scary, aren't they? The Copa Del Rey is the only competition where Ronaldo isn't averaging at least a goal a game for Madrid. He has 46 goals in 46 games in Europe and 169 goals in 157 appearances in the league.

dont_do_it_doug.
I agree with Rev. If they had no keeper then the opposition would be shooting from 30/40 yards all the time and scoring more than a few. Though I do *understand* the point and it is impressive. Just worded badly. The_Rev
But why try to editorialise to make it sound more impressive? Bayern are the Champions of Europe. They are 20+ points clear at the top of the table in Germany and 49 games unbeaten in the league. They still need a goalkeeper.
