I thought he did a good job at Spurs.

He had a team with Modric, King, Van Der Vaart, Bale and a prime Scott Parker and still **** up a huge lead against Arsenal

Yes he had Bale and Modric but the season they finished 4th ahead of City and us was an achievement, They also reached the quarters of the champions league. Its easy to dig holes in people's achievements but have Spurs finished top 4 since he left, NO! How much have they spent since he left?

Net spend, seeing as VT is obsessed with it, they've spent less than nothing ;)

Bet their wage bill has increased significantly though, even if the sales of Bale and Modric make their net spending look ok.

I'm not a liker of Redknapp but he's a character and theres zero characters left in the Premier League. Mourinho maybe but he's self obsessed. Holloway was! All we have are boring managers who have nothing to say after a match.

Didn't realise just how bad financially things are at qpr, if they go down they will have a £40million fine to pay, if they dont pay it they will be relegated to the conference.

Redknapp isn't totally blameless for the state they are in but he's basically bailed out because if they do go down saggy chops will be known for destroying another club.

No chance they're coming back up if they go down this time for a while.

Fernandes was on about building a new stadium at Old Oak Common which will cost a bit aswell so that will impact on team spending.

They've been banging on about a new ground and training centre for a few years now, all part of Fernandes' delusional vision of turning the smallest London premier league team into one of the biggest, it was never going to happen & it seems they have finally realised this.

On the quiet it looks as though Fernandes is doing what randy has done here and cut back on ploughing millions in to the club, the new stadium that was wanted straight away I now a long term vision, the chairman the other week said it was 10 years away from happening, and with no money spent in January, perhaps TF will do what he did with his f1 team and just call it quits.

Why on earth would Laudrup go there? Imagine trying to get Barton, Zamora, Henry and Hill etc trying to pass the ball along the floor instead of just kicking the other teams players?

Laudrup has a good CV and could easily hold out for a better job if he wanted to.
