VillaRoy
Cue overreactions! Shouldn't have had an awards night at this time of season when in a bit of a pickle in the first place. Forget this, Spurs Sunday.
CI
Why were they thrown out ? Or did they just not get in ?
Milfner
In all seriousness it's practically nothing. This happens how many times on any night out, it just happened to involve some of our players. They've been fined. Move on.
timbaughan
Pissed me off more than it should. I guess if we were having a decent season it wouldn't really bother me but this just adds to what has already been a season full of fail.
makouns-knitwear
I guess Herd was a bit pissed off he didn't win an award... Won Young Player No ? CI
Sir Alex would be down on his players like a ton of bricks even if they were top of the league To blow this sort of stuff off by saying MEH or similar is half the problem
coda
I felt like doing that when I seen the prices at Gatecrasher.

briny_ear
Disappointed to see Herd involved in something like this. I'd been hoping he would turn out to be slightly above the usual level of complete pr*t.
CI
Is that Collins being dragged out head first sideways on slide 1 ?
Dodgyknees
Shocked Collins was involved, looking pissed and unsteady on his feet, nothing like him. Model professional and one of the only players who never drinks.
coda
Herd mentions a prior situation inside the nightclub had not been dealt with properly. Maybe they were acting like dickheads or maybe they were provoked.
brommy
Sir Alex would be down on his players like a ton of bricks even if they were top of the league To blow this sort of stuff off by saying MEH or similar is half the problem After viewing the video clip - on a scandal scale of 1 to 10 this is a 2. No one was hurt and it would appear no was property damaged. The door staff will use it as a training exercise in preparation for some more violent idiots. I don't believe the manager/club will have said 'meh' or similar as, on a good note, two worthwhile charities gained some much needed cash. KSV
Mcleish is known as a nice bloke but this is where you need a tough **** of a manager. THese players shouldn't play again this season. Cellins a model pro? Wasn't he in a prior ruccuss with dunnr etc causing shit. Ah well typical villa
Spoony
On a week leading up to a key game, sorry it's piss poor and unacceptable This. They're paid thousands and thousands a week. They have great responsibility as footballers to represent the club and everything we stand for and they get great remuneration for it. Being a 'kid' is no excuse. Grow up and earn your salary. brommy
Herd mentions a prior situation inside the nightclub had not been dealt with properly. Maybe they were acting like dickheads or maybe they were provoked. There's a strong possibility they were both, i.e. acting like dickheads after being provoked. I think most of us have done at least one thing we're not particularly proud of. Hopefully young Herd will learn from this low level issue and avoid an escalation in the future.
