I'm guessing there'll be some Gothenburg metal on Pelle's mixtape ;).

Heh, don't like the Gothenburg bands that much, tbh. :) We've got In flames, Hammerfall and Dead by April, but none of them have done more than a good song here or there. But I've thought of putting one or two swedish songs on the CD. But none of them are metal. :P

I suggest the magnificent Dungen (thanks to Xann for the heads up on that one BTW).

Well its all gone wrong for me. I made a CD full of wonderful tunes, sent it to choffer and it was returned today 'addressee has gone away'. Its a collection of modern indie label tunes (variety of styles) that's ideal for someone who stuck in a listening rut and wants to hear something new. First address in my pm box gets the CD!

Anybody laid claim to this yet or is the offer still open? 8)

I received mine on tuesday, along with a nice signed squad photo of Villa from the 78/79 season! Haven't had a chance to listen yet but will hopefully do soon. Need to get mine in the post too.

It was pure coincidence, I re discovered the photo so took a copy and shoved it in. I've even still got the Aston Villa franked envelope it came in!

I'd written to the club as a kid and asked for autographs and that's what they sent me. Made me wonder what the club would do now if a kid writes in asking for autographs? I might carry out a test on that, see how things have changed 34 years later.

saturdaygig's CD just turned up and I have to say I am gobsmacked at the level of production quality. I am quite distraught at how inferior/amateur my one now seems (should be with you this week, mate).

Im a bit ashamed of my lack of artwork now

In terms of Indie - ness, its off the scale

No need to gloat CI :winkold:

Turned into a nightmare for me, this swap.

1. I've had to out myself as having appalling taste in music

2. I've had to send my cd twice as it turned up in pieces the first time

3. My bastard postie can't be bothered to deliver my mail so I miss my cd.

Will have a quick look at iTunes though and see what I think of the tracks I would have got.

could anyone tell me which side of the list is the artist and which is the song title?

thinking about it, it was a bit off of CI not to ask that formatting question a bit earlier in proceedings
