Two recent albums

Angelo De Augustine - Tomb (very nice and gentle ‘indie folk’ akin to sufjan Stevens)

Black Belt Eagle Scout - mother of my Children (bought off the back of the track soft stud)

The first record that definitely needs replacing in the great vinyl cleaning project, side 2, first two tracks are fubared. I'll see if I can still bag a re-issue from a couple of years ago. I've found others in a similar state but I don't care about them, this one is essential listening

Found myself a very good 2nd hand copy of this today.£15 in a reggae specialist 2nd hand store in Brizzle. Very pleased

Test Dept - Disturbance. They've gone (a bit) electronic since the 80's when they were banging huge bits of metal on stage with pipe bands and male voice choirs. But their first album in 20 years doesn't disappoint, it's still Industrial, it's still very political and I'll be listening to this for a while yet I think

Some tube one of those blogs come music review sites called this "Battleground Techno". Is it shite

Something else from a weekend of crate digging

Nice (now I've cleaned it) copy of a compilation of the early singles from Eyeless in Gaza - Kodak Ghosts Run Amok

Worth a few quid more than what I paid for it

Just played mine for the first time (I'd played it on Spotify previously) and they know how to please someone who likes a closed groove!

ahh shit, see I've been so busy I stuck it on a stick and I've been playing it in the car.

currently doing that most middle class of things, my nipper's homework, once I reckon I've done enough for a "B' then I'll swap rooms and have a proper listen, you know, by proper I mean laying on the floor, half embedded in a beanbag, headphones on...

It'll take a short while to work out when each side is finished!

I guess this is the appropriate place to post this as I am playing it now

Still not entirely sure why I bought this as they are a "one song at a time is OK" not whole albums worth kind of band for me but... the missus quite likes it so I did

This is the 2nd pressing, Rough Trade Exclusive Ltd Edition Orange vinyl version

Someone has paid double its shelf price for it and every copy for sale is at least £15 over the shelf price (£19:99)

Rough Trade still have copies in their shops! (I bought mine on Saturday)
