BOF Posted March 5, 2012 Moderator Share Posted March 5, 2012 Aren't Inter just italy's version of Chelsea though? Probably. But that just means he's a shoe-in
Zatman
It's why Gasperini struggled so much, trying to implement a system that the players didn't want to play. players could never play his system, similar to CHile need lots of energy and speed and they didnt have it. Problem for INter is the last 2 managers couldnt find a place for Sneijder their best player

kurtsimonw
Chiellini and Barzagli injured for Juve, leaves only Bonucci as a decent centre back for the next 2 games!

lapal_fan
He's not brilliant though, certainly not Chellini worthy Big one tonight, Aquilani is suppose to be playing some part. Should be a good game.
kurtsimonw
Good to see Aquilani back. Nocerino - Van Bommel - Aquilani accross the middle should be fine now. Have to stop playing Urby behind the strikers, he's so poor there. Would rather have him at left back.
The_Rev
How long before Aquilani is injured again though? He is made of glass, the only reason Roma sold him to Liverpool is because he is always **** injured. The guy has barely played a hundred games over the past five years. He is a supremely talented individual, but you cannot build a team around somebody who can't be relied on to play regularly.
lapal_fan
Which is why Milan are overwhelming favourites to sign Ricardo Montilivo from Fiorentina in the summer. The Ideal midfielder is a diamond with Robinho at the top, a middle pair of Boateng and Aquilani and an anchor man in Van Bommell. Strikers of Cassano/Ibra - meaning the front 3 (Ibra, Cass, Robinho) are more or less interchangeable. Milan should be fine this year, they have a decent spine in Silva, Ibra and Boateng. Anything over QF's in the Champs league and Serie A winners is a bonus.
kurtsimonw
Which is why Milan are overwhelming favourites to sign Ricardo Montilivo from Fiorentina in the summer. Boateng, Nocerino, Van Bommel, Merkel, Aquilani and Montolivo would be a good group for the midfield 3. Can't wait to have Cassano back, he and Ibra have an outstanding partnership. kurtsimonw
FT 1-1. 2 dropped points and Bonucci got sent off. That means no Chiellini, Barzagli or Bonucci for their next game.
lapal_fan
Huzzar! Milan have players coming back too, plus an Ibra that's getting better in every Serie A game. I'll be gutted if we don't win the league!
kurtsimonw
I really can't see past Milan now. Lots of injuries plus a tough group of fixtures and we've got out of it on top. As you say, we have player coming back now as well as 'easy' fixtures for most of the season. They still have a few tough games in the next month or 2. Sureshot
Watching Lazio vs Bologna right now - interesting game. Bologna went up 2-0, then Lazio went down to 10 men after Matuzalem slapped Diamanti in the face. Bologna then gave Lazio a ridiculous own goal to bring them back into it. Now Lazio are down to 9 after Gonzalez fouled Acquafresca on a clear chance, after which Bologna made it 3-1. Funny thing is, I don't think anyone has had a yellow card yet, and there should have definitely been a few already.
lapal_fan
Milan go 4 points clear! Won 2-0 against Lecce (bottom of the table) - Ibra scored a good goal, check it out on youtube. Juve drew... again! Nocerino has to be bargin of the season, 500k, scored 9 goals and got a few assists. Close to getting into the Italy National team! Nice work Galliani! Voinjama
Dont have a favourite Italian team, but I just hope Juve dont win it. Decades of favouritism has meant at least 5 of their titles should not have stood. Apparently this bribery thing has been going since the 80s.
