I woted for moyes, but is poyet not interesting choice.

Ancelotti has best record, is he really interesting to come?

Deschamps, Benitez or Mclaren omg, NO.

Personally, it would be my dream to see Keegan at Villa Park.

But what about Christoph Daum? He has c.a. 60% winning record. That is around 70pts.

I believe C.D. could find great player, for good price, from germany.

Christoph Daum need a second chance to become great again.

Interesting the number of calls for Wilkins , when Chelsea sacked him the general consensus on the forum was that Wilkins did nothing more than make the tea :-)

Ancelotti wouldn't need Wilkins. Sid speaks Italian anyway and is very much a clubman.

Exactly the same as Wilkins was at Chelsea. There's no big Ancelotti & Wilkins partnership, they only came together at Chelsea.

Just can't stop grinning and getting excited about ancelotti even though I keep telling myself it won't happen.

I feel exactly the same but I dont want to as it will so end in tears.

Get Carlo & Wilkins

The thing with Wilkins at Chelsea is he was an ex player and had been at the club for a long time and had an affiliation to the club ... in that regard IF we went the Ancelotti route we'd be better with Cowans or Kev Mc as his number 2

Whilst I don't doubt Wilkins' affinity for Chelsea, I think as a professional he would be just as effective anywhere he was employed in such a role. I think he has a little more presence than Cowans, who seems happy to remain in the no. 3 slot (at least as far as I can tell), and was invaluable to Ancelotti in terms of relaying his methods and advice to the players, both young and experienced.

I can see why players speak so highly of him as I met him myself way back when he was manager of QPR (had a decent team at the time with Les Ferdinand and Trevor Sinclair) and is one of the most personable, well-mannered people in the game.
