AVFC-Prideofbrum
Point would be ok. Loss very poor, win would be fantastic. (obviously) Friedel Walker Dunne Clark Baker (if fit) Albrighton Reo-Coker Delph Downing Young Bent. If Baker is out, either Young left back (if fit) or Collins/Cuellar (if fit) centre half and Clark LB....or if all else, Delph LB and Bannan in the midfield, possibly even Bradley, giving him more freedom with Coker in there with him. barry'sboots
AVFCPoB - I can't add much to your selection for this game. A win would be excellent and move us into a position to genuinely be able to challenge for the 6th spot that we know belongs to us!

theunderstudy
Mak ain't bak Al. Serving match 3 of 3. I'm going up there so it had better be good! I'm saying 3-1 to the mighty Villa! jacketspuds
Can't see a different starting lineup to the one that beat Blackburn to be honest. Must not lose game again but a draw would be ok.
jat_r
I think a point would be good but after last night I really really want us to win! My team would be: Friedel Walker Collins Dunne Clark Downing Reo Coker Delph Agbonlahor Young Bent I'm not sure about Delph, would possibily start Petrov over him? I don't know. I know a lot of people wouldn't play Gabby on the wing, but as we don't have a proper left back we need somebody willing to work hard there and to double up with Clark on the danger. Thats why I would play Gabby over Albrighton. I'm going to go with a 2-1 win to the Villa! Come on!

kidlewis
Considering the team we put out in the cup. Anything short of a win is poor.
Mantis
Make no mistake about it - Bolton are no mugs. Would be happy with a draw providing it doesn't involve us throwing away a lead in the last minute.
dudevillaisnice
Collins is making progress and will be fit for Saturday (Houllier said this on AVTV when talking about Delph new contract)

Rich_D
------------Friedel Walker Clark Baker Delph/Young Albrighton NRC Pires Downing -------------Young --------------Bent That is how I see it. If Young isn't available at LB, we have a very, very youthful, inexperienced back 4. (I'm not coming on here if we lose because I can already see the abuse that Houllier will get) Can't see him dropping Pires after Blackburn unless he gives Bannan another start. Option at CB are Collins is he is fit but no news on it, same with Cuellar. Heskey anyone?
bred
Won't be Pires. With a make shift back four we have to have someone sitting right in front protecting them. So I'm expecting Bradley to get a start since he'll be facing off against Holden who he knows extremely well. On top of it all they have Sturridge/Elmander/Davies/Lee Chung Young all running at our defense. So expect Gabby to play to give our team some pace since he does an extremely well job at tracking Back. Just read your comment Jat_r, completely agree My team is ------------Friedel--------------- Walker---Clark--Baker--Delph Downing--NRC-Bradley-Gabby -------------Young--------------- --------------Bent ---------------
Maradona10
Looking forward to seeing Collins and Clark at the back.

He will get abused, for example, if he picks a young CM'er to play RB when he has an England international RB sitting on the bench! Why would you not start Delph in CM in front of Bobby given his performances at LB in the last couple of games - assuming he doesn't need to play LB again! Maradona10
I'd play Friedel Walker Collins (If Fit) Clark Baker Albrighton Downing NRC Delph or Bradley Young Bent
quizme
^^^^^ Same team for me. Or defence doesnt look great does it? What will we do if Collins aint fit? Beye? L Young? Herd?
Danwichmann
GK: Friedel LB: L Young RB: Walker CB: Clark CB: Collins LM: Downing RM: Albrighton CM: Reo Coker CM: Delph ACM: A Young ST: Bent Subs: Marshall (or Guzan, is he back from Hull?); Beye (not much choice left really, we're paying him so use him); Bannan, Petrov, Pires; Agbonlahor, Heskey. If Collins isn't fit, have to play Beye at CB. Wouldn't be to happy about it but don't think there are to many options, I don't like midfielders at full back. jacketspuds
If Collins is not fit I'd be tempted to play Walker at CB and L. Young at RB. Delph in for Pires and I think we could get something from tomorrow's game. Another must not lose though so would be more than happy with a point.
