Djemba Djemba for £1.3 million could be the signing of the season IMO.

He obviously has a lot of talent and at 29 years old he'll be thinking it's his last chance to prove to everyone just how good he is.

VfB Stuttgart and Borussia Mönchengladbach rumoured to be looking at Philipp Degen for around £500k. Borussia actually had his twin brother David on their books a few years back. Philipp had a great reputation in the Bundesliga before injuries and Liverpool ruined him, if he can get anywhere near back to his Dortmund form he'd be a shrewd acquisition.

Gar that is complete b*llox. How the hell did Liverpool 'ruin' him?

He joined Borussia Dortmund in 2005. Injuries hampered his progress and he only made 10 appearances in the 2007-2008 season. (This was BEFORE he joined Liverpool) His contract expired in the summer of 2008 and he joined Liverpool on free.

Degen proved to be quite unlucky at the start of his Liverpool career, hardly being able to step on to the field without getting injured. He broke two ribs on his Liverpool debut vs Crewe in the League Cup on 23rd September 2009 and when he made his second appearance vs Spurs in December he injured his foot.

I was referring to the move, not the club itself. Joining an arguably more physical league when you know you're having injury troubles isn't the smartest move.

Though it wouldn't surprise me if your treatment room consisted of a 'tached shellsuit-wearing chap selling "magic pills" in exchange for hubcaps.

:D

You know how West Ham have spent the last three months talking about Scott Parker like he is Pelé and how they would never ever ever sell him even if a £50m bid came in? Well, Spurs are supposed to have offered £7m and it seems Parker is interested in speaking to them about a move to White Hart Lane.
