Mr_Dogg
They are skilful players but Bruce won't know what to do with them. Very limited manager.

VillaChris
The great Guidetti myth has ended up at Celtic. Let's see how many he scores in the SPL.
jacketspuds
QPR could still bring in Defoe. A classic Harry deal after the window had closed. Shock horror.

BleedClaretAndBlue
Arsenal fans must hate days like these. Should of gone all out for Falcao but will have to settle for DW On a side note, Wellbeck's old man, Stan, was in the bomb disposal squad during WW2

AndyM3000
Really strange day. Spurs fans are very annoyed Sandro has gone, Man City fans the same with Negredo. You don't often see teams like Utd getting loans in either, Torres on a two year loan to Milan. This isn't what the loan system was made for, it needs to be fixed its getting out of hand. Avfc96
Im going to laugh so much if the Falcao deal falls through. This is the first transfer window aswell where there seems to have been a load of loans with huge loan fees attatched to them.
jacketspuds
Late deal at Chelsea. Wonder if it's Andre Ayew.
Isa
Late deal at Chelsea. Wonder if it's Andre Ayew. Nah, they never would've been in for him and someone from Marseille has said he is staying.
Avfc96
I don't think this Falcao one will go through and United will pull the plug on the Welbeck deal to Arsenal.
villa4europe
Chelsea have maxed the squad haven't they? Valdes is available on a free for someone when fit, think the free transfer deadline isn't for a while yet though
Avfc96
Chelsea have maxed the squad haven't they? Valdes is available on a free for someone when fit, think the free transfer deadline isn't for a while yet though Yeah they have, bloke on Sky mentioned it earlier. They had 18 players but could only register 17 players so they got rid of Van Ginkel on loan.
lapal_fan
This transfer window is fascinating and appalling. Man Utd have too much money. I severely hope they don't get top 4 now. I want to see that company burn to the ground. And I say that as someone who has never really mindes about Man Utd. They're becoming completely faceless and they have completely lost their identity. Got some good players into the league and I'm really happy that we have a few English players gone to foreign clubs.
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
So, to get around FFP, teams will just loan players for big fees and pay the remainder the following season?
lapal_fan
It would appear so. In which case, we should be able to offer players 10k wages, but pay them big at the end of the season to bump that figure up to 150k a week. seems legit. VillaChris
You can't expect people to live on 10k a week. I loved that Van Hoojidonk quote from way back in the 90s "10k a week may be enough for the homeless but not for an international footballer. Genie
I remember Jamie O'Hara once saying that he sometimes comes under financial pressure as like other people he has lots of bills to pay. Must be terrible. Having to always have the new Ferrari to avoid being picked on in training.
