VillaChris
Adebayor won't be motivated at all just being back up and playing the cups and Europa league. Sell him and keep Defoe.
Czechlad
I have a a feeling Jozy Altidore will become a very good striker. Just put 3 past Begovic in Bosnia and got himself an assist.

Qwpzxjor1
They refused to meet his 17m release clause. They'd supposedly bid 15m, so digging their heels in over 2m to the point they just lose out on the player. Arsenal fans must be pretty pissed off now. samjp26
Tottenham in central midfielder signing shocker. Can't wait to see AVB's 1-8-1 formation. Edited August 15, 2013 by samjp26
rosenthal
Made room for Capoue by selling Huddlestone, loaning out Livermore, while Parker is likely to be off as well. Not too many midfielders at Spurs, just very high quality and a decision to upgrade many in a short spell of time. Reckon there'll be six senior midfielders competing for three spots, while some of them are versatile and can play wide or in defence. First choice: Sandro, Dembele, Paulinho Challengers: Capoue, Holtby, Sigurdsson U21 options: Dombaxe, Carroll, Bentaleb

First choice: Sandro, Dembele, Paulinho Challengers: Capoue, Holtby, Sigurdsson U21 options: Dombaxe, Carroll, Bentaleb Holtby and Capoue both have the ability to be pushing for first team places, in fact on my opinion it will hinder their progress for them to be bit-part players. Good to have competition for places but they should really be strengthening other positions. Center back, left back and they certainly need one or two more strikers if Defoe and Adebayor aren't in the picture.

LondonLax
It must be frustrating for Arsenal fans who expect trophies but it is still an amazing job he is doing there keeping a team in the Champions League for something like 15 years in a row whilst making a net profit on transfers and a club record signing of £15m (less then our record signing even). A remarkable achievement. He has pioneered the Dortmund model before Dortmund did. I recon if he'd won cup or two recently people would have nothing but positive things to say about him.

LondonLax
Spurs are really stepping up, some promising signings for sure. Squad is looking really good. Perhaps Levy has seen the top 3 clubs all changing managers and decided this is the season Spurs should make a go of things in hop of one of them slipping up? Either that or he is spending the Bale money in advance of a sale

Either that or he is spending the Bale money in advance of a sale Which is exactly the right thing to do. Bring in a LB, CB and another ST then sell Bale for £85m and Spurs will at least break even this summer. Sell Bale first and they'd get quoted ridiculous amounts of money for players. I am quite envious of their squad to be honest. Oh well, fingers crossed Lambert gets us back up there soon enough.
Nabby
Looks to me like Spurs are spending some of the Bale cash already however they have brought in decent cash from flogging Huddlestone and Dempsey and Parker looks to be next out the door. Liverpool strongly linked with Willian ,again though could be them spending the Suraez cash already despite what they say. They could challenge top 4 this season as much as it pains me to say.Arsenal and Man United need to pull their finger out neither of added anyone significantly
