jadenb42
Cook needs to find form from somewhere, same with Trott. verdict still out on root, that knock of his came when there was no pressure on him. Bairstow been lucky he ain't been dropped aswell

veloman
Well James Taylor could come into the reckoning now but my greatest fear is that the selectors will look at Varun Chopra. A superb player IMO and Warks won't want to lose him this season !
Zatman
have to say if he wasnt made of glass Ryan Harris, would be among best bowlers in world though as Ive said before its no surprise England again fail to get to 400 runs, batsmen are average in my opinion under Cooks tactics, think if roles were reversed Clarke would no doubt have that England team as best in world, he is a very good captain but not surrounded by a great squad at moment

Until this game he'd hardly done the correct thing once.Even in this game he probably batted too long given the forecast
Zatman
except the referrals. his changes and field placings have been very good compared to Cook who is a damage limitation guy and not trying to take wickets in 1st innings. He got lucky in 1st 2 tests that aussies were giving them away
Xela
Nice to retain the the Ashes but we struggled in that test. The batters need to sort themselves out. They've got the ability, they just need to knuckle down and grind out some scores.
dAVe80
Brilliant! Ashes in the bag, now on to Durham to wrap up the series! People bemoaning the weather, need to realise that this is all part of the game. Weather has a say in many aspect of the test, such as when the sun is out, it's easier to bat, or when it's cloudy, the bowlers can get the ball to swing. It could have quite easily been England chasing the win today if we'd won the toss, but that's the way it is, and has been since the 5 day time limit was set. Don't feel bad for the Aussies, they certainly wouldn't for us. Celebrate the fact we've now had the Ashes for three series in a row, and think back to 90s, when we were getting trounced series after series. It's our time now, and long mat it continue!

Zatman
shouldnt annoy me but idiots on Sky Sports should get their facts right by saying Australia have now lost 4 out of 5 Ashes series. They havent actually lost this series yet
Zatman
the 31-year-old had been partying at the Shooshh club on Brighton’s beachfront, which was hosting a Gay Pride event. However, when a group of women complained he was hassling them, the spin bowler was asked to leave. He proceeded to the promenade above the club and relieved himself on the bouncers who chased after him until he was cornered in a nearby pizza parlour, where he was heard shouting “Help! Help!” Securing him in an arm-lock, they hauled him back to the club and called police, the reports concluded.
