Wainy316 Posted March 13, 2014 Share Posted March 13, 2014 Anyone else get the feeling Bryan will beat HHH to get into the main event then right at the end Punk will return and either attack and cost Bryan the title thus becoming an uber mega heel or help him win? Or just wishful thinking? I can see them putting the strap on Batista. The heat he has at the moment is completely organic, he returned, won the Rumble, people hate him - that's it. They couldn't hope to get as much heat if they did something to show him as a heel. Sure, he's playing up to it now, but give him the title and he'll have unworldly levels of heat. That could set up a pretty interesting feud with Bryan who will, naturally, still be very over. I like this. Bryan winning at Mania is too obvious now and it will look like Vince is bowing to fan pressure. Put the strap on Batista and stretch Bryan's chase out longer. People will still be interested in his long long road to glory and with how hated Batista is and how loved Bryan is it will be monumental when he finally does beat him to lift the strap. It would certainly be a 'Wrestlemania Moment' which they could harp on about every single year when WM comes round again It's just kind of hard to ignore the heat Batista has at the moment. It might seem obvious giving the strap to Bryan, or seen as them bowing to fan pressure, but it wouldn't be the first time - remember RVD beating Cena clean for the title at the 'last' ECW show? Undertaker v Brock has yet to pick up and although Wyatt is an absolute machine on the mic, Cena has yet to bring his best to the table. One minute he was kidding around about how Wyatt looked like a homeless dude and the next week he is saying how scared of Wyatt he is.
