Speak to a professional and hope that you aren't one of the unfortunates who get completely ignored for suffering from depression.

If you are then try and deal with it properly rather than ignoring/bluffing it.

How bad are your up and down moods though?

It's hard to tell whether or not it's a problem or it's just good ol' fashioned teenage hormones.

Hard to tell as there's not really a whole lot to compare it to if you know what I mean. One minute I can be on top of the world & feeling pretty good & then one small thing can put me in a funk & keep me awake for several hours thinking about it.

Just part of life I guess, sucks pretty badly at some points though

His Mom has it too, I don't know if that could be a factor though.

Don't know my dad's side too well, mums side are all **** batshit crazy (although that's not particularly medical, just them being them really)

Dad's side are all Irish so you know there's some crazy in there as well... :lol:

Maybe you're just completely overthinking things. I overthink a lot and sometimes lie in bed just thinking about stuff, I think everyone does.

However, that is me and not you.

i object to that final statement, in gabbys post.

tbh it just sounds like stress, you just finished your exams (or still studying?) and are waiting for your future to be decided basically. people tend to undestimate or misunderstand the effects of stress on people, or how it even manifests itself.

you should just chill, enjoy the WC and get the crap out of your mind for a while. it's not easy but stress can be a right word removed if you let it fester.

or do what i do and get some whiskey in yeeee.
