Jon Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I can't vote, as this poll seems to be an American one. I was looking for the option "Centre Left", but can't seem to find it. :winkold:
leviramsey Posted September 29, 2009 VT Supporter Posted September 29, 2009 Not represented. The left-right scale is intellectually bankrupt. Political Compass provides an alternative typology.
The_Rev Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 That asks a lot of loaded questions though. Okay, that is kinda the point I guess, but it forces you to chose answers you may not want to and it implies that there is only one way of seeing things. I voted centre left in the original poll. The compass points centre left too: Economic Left/Right: -4.12 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.69
tonyh29 Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 There was some website where you answered questions and it drew you a nice little graph at the end of it which now I've read levi's post is on his link ...D'oh I'd have said centre to centre right on the original poll for me the website came up with Economic Left/Right: 0.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.56 There is a bit of a libertarian in me it seems ..lets hope it's not Alan Dunacan
bickster Posted September 29, 2009 Moderator Posted September 29, 2009 Not represented. The left-right scale is intellectually bankrupt. I was about to post similar

chrisp65 Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 economic -5.38 social -5.03 apparently I'm the Dalai Lama reincarnated whilst this is more complex it still asks a pre selected list of questions and offers inflexible answers I think ideally, I would like to be a wealthy insider with complete freedom of movement living in a benign dictatorship.
