CarewsEyebrowDesigner
I'd probably die on the spot after eating that.
Stevo985 Posted August 15, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted August 15, 2013 Excellent breakfast Levi! I especially commend the omelette. A lot of people would ruin that by putting onions in it.
leviramsey Posted August 15, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted August 15, 2013 I did have to specifically decline the inclusion of onions.Apart from Vidalias, onions are vile things.

Phumfeinz
You guys are absurd and I'm going to have an onion omelette today just to spite you. Edit: scratch that, I've only got one small onion and no garlic or anything. Edited August 15, 2013 by Phumfeinz

CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Yeah, onions are terrific. I'd eat them whole if I didn't have to occasionally speak to people.

PompeyVillan
Straight up vote. What is the better bar snack, pork scratching or beef jerky? I got both at home at the moment. For me the scratchings win hands down.
StefanAVFC
Neither. Cheese moments.
villa4europe
if you're throwing in cheesy moments then im having scampi fries and its game over... beef jerky is hit and miss IMO depends on the flavour blend, you cant really go wrong with scratchings ive become addicted to pop tarts, the £4 boxes were bad enough, then I found a place in worcs selling single packs for £1, yank flavours too

villa4europe
strangely (and obviously not for salt content) but puffy scratchings and beef jerky are both meant to be quite good for you if you are watching your weight
PompeyVillan
Proper scratchings of course. Proper pig. What are puffy scratchings cooked in, they seem fried? Don't seem diet food that's for sure. Jerky I can believe because there isn't much fat in it, just dried beef, which is protein. Either way, I'm a noob to jerky but it just doesn't scratch (ha) that beer itch. mikeyp102
Scratchings every time.. Jerky is like eating my shoe with flavouring sprinkled on. Heston Blumenthal did a programme a few yrs ago where he made an edible pub, said he was making a giant scratching.. He didn't it was one of the puffy ones.. Bloody southerners!!
