PieFacE Posted June 26, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted June 26, 2013 (edited) Am I the only one who, despite Del Toro, thinks Pacific Rim looks like absolute gash? No you're not. Looks like Transformers in disguise. No thanks. Edited June 26, 2013 by PieFacE
Rodders
pacific rim, does indeed, look just plain stupid.
GarethRDR
No you're not. Looks like Transformers in disguise. No thanks. I'm at least hoping that - by virtue of it simply not being a film can with a solitary turd in it - it'll be better than Transformers. Even if it was, it'd still run it pretty close. You can't think of one reason to watch Transformers? Not even one Megan Fox-sized reason? Disappoint.
GarethRDR
Megan included. And I've seen Barb Wire and the Godzilla remake.

BOF Posted June 26, 2013 Moderator Share Posted June 26, 2013 Of course it's total crap. It's just a means of getting Megan Fox into your eyeballs. I don't see the problem

BOF Posted June 26, 2013 Moderator Share Posted June 26, 2013 This has potential.Damn: Philip Seymour Hoffman Joins Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace & Gary Oldman In 'Child 44'So, just how kick ass is Philip Seymour Hoffman? Just a few weeks ago he was making headlines for checking himself back into rehab after a relapse into drug addiction led to him to snorting heroin. And today, dude is back at work like a boss and helping make an already great sounding project even better.Deadline reports that Hoffman is going to be joining Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace, Gary Oldman, Joel Kinnaman, Paddy Considine and Fares Fares in "Child 44." The poster for this pretty much designs itself. Getting a producer's touch by Ridley Scott, with "Safe House" helmer Daniel Espinosa behind the camera and a script by Richard Price ("The Wire," "Clockers"), the adaptation of Tom Rob Smith's novel follows a disgraced MGB agent (Hardy) in the 1950s Soviet Union investigating a prolific child murderer who may have connections going to the very top of the party leadership. No word yet on this role.Production is already underway, Summit will release the movie probably next year, so just tell us the date so we can mark our calendar. It looks Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar" is getting a run for its money for 2014 cast of the year...
