I'd rather the lawyers for the independent panel commissioned by the Premier League and the Premier League itself and lovers of fair play everywhere beat the lawyers of the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and possibly his Tory handmaidens.

Yup. Us too.

Doesn't answer my question though.

tbf Arsenal have a game in hand, and if they win it we are six points behind them, and the points of the top 3 would be 63, 62 and 61, then us on 55, Spurs on 50 with a game in hand, then Manure on 44 in 6th.

I do think, if we are honest, its a 3 horse race for the PL.

We are in a fight for 4th or 5th, with my fingers crossed that Manure dont have some sort of mad run, and it stays a 2 team challenge for 4th/5th.

I don’t think it does. Arsenal are 5 points off the top with a game in hand. We’re 8 points off the top and in 4th.

We’re not in a title race.

I did say very unlikely.... but if it was United or Chelsea in our position it would be called a 4 course race. I still think Arsenal will fall over and we could nick 3rd

I don't have a direct answer to your question, Don. I don't know what I think. Football games as moral parables ... I don't know, you know?

I'd rather City win it.

Because they're cheats.

So in a way, there's no winner.

And no winner is better than a happy scouser.

(I'm sorry this poem is rubbish. It doesn't even rhyme).

scousers who then think they're so mind blowingly incredible that they beat the cheats

might as well just declare them the best team in history

**** that

Truth is like poetry.

And no one like poetry.

Good poem. I wrote a haiku.

"City win the big league.

Critics swoon at cheating heartbreak.

Liverpool eat s**t."

I call it 'Eat sh*t Liverpool'.

Edit....ah crap I just realised 'City' is two syllables. Err. Maybe use 'Bitch' instead.

I wanted to include something else but 'representative from Wellingborough' has way too many syllables for a haiku.

You’ve also got 8 syllables in your second line. 1 out of 3 lines of a haiku correct is better than nothing I guess!

Fully agree with the sentiment, just being a pedant!

Hudy your mouth. Don't you dare doubt the Don.

We haven't been in a title race since that run end of Dec/start of Jan

Yup, and it’s not really a title race that early in the season.
