YLN
Christopher Lee has 211 screen credits, more than any other living actor. He’s performed in English, French, Canadian, German, Russian, Norwegian, Swedish, Italian, Pakistani, Spanish, Japanese, American, Australian and New Zealand productions. If that’s not impressive enough, he’s also 6 foot 5 and a direct descendent of Charlemagne. © Trivia site mentioned on page 103 of this thread. Also a WWII fighter pilot. Top dude. He gave a talk in my college a couple of weeks ago, but I missed it because I was studying or something

I think a few "African Americans" may just fall into this category too.

Shillzz
Do enjoy a game of badminton. My speciality was always the backhand clear to the back of court. Get your opponent nice and tired, then pick them off.
GarethRDR
I prefer it to tennis because I don't have to run to pick up a stray ball when I inevitably miss a shot. 8)
Shillzz
I think it benefits from being a game that can be enjoyed by people at a fairly low level of ability. You need 2 fairly solid players to have a meaningfull game of tennis, but your average idiot is fairly capable of keeping a rally going in badminton for a short while. mjmooney Posted November 28, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted November 28, 2011 The Easter Island “Heads” Have Bodies Maybe this isn’t a newsflash to anyone but me, but, um, the Moai “heads” on Easter Island have bodies. Because some of the statues are set deep into the ground, and because the heads on the statues are disproportionately large, many people (myself included) tend to think of them as just big heads. But the bodies (generally not including legs, though there is at least one kneeling statue) are there — in many cases, underground. What’s even more interesting — there are petroglyphs (rock markings) that have been preserved below the soil level, where they have been protected from erosion. This research report has been making the rounds; it discusses recent progress by The Easter Island Statue Project to uncover, study, and catalogue two statues. It includes (among the dry details of the research) a day-by-day journal of the work, as well as remarkable photographs showing the petroglyphs and team members excavating. Above is an image from a previous excavation (source unknown) that shows you the scale of the statues, and how deep they were buried. (Note: visitors are prohibited from climbing on the Moai; the expedition pictured above appears to predate the EISP and the current practice of conservation.) The_Rev
Since the Premier League was formed in 1992, Aston Villa players have only scored 8 hat tricks. Arsenal have managed 31 in that time, and Robbie Fowler managed to score 9 on his own, which makes our stat slightly more disappointing. bonus trivia question: The 8 Villa hat tricks were scored by 8 different players. Can you name them all?
