I hope he is cleared of all this.

Not just because we are struggling with injuries, but because he looks like he's built for the PL and he's shown positive signs so far. I reckon once he gets his first goal he'll be flying.

I hope he gets cleared because we've already dropped 6m on the muppet.

That's an insanely fast decision.

Looking at the length of ban and speed of the decision, they have one eye getting their players available for the Euros. Typical Italians can't resist a bit of corruption, even when it's about investigating corruption.

Would there be any sort of insurance or clause to protect clubs from these things?

Yes - obviously not sure what it would cover, but there would be a LONG list - injury through to the most awful.

Honestly. The amount of xenophobia cropping up in this thread is pathetic.

They’ve acted quicker, and fairer than the FA did in the Toney and Toffolo cases. But nah, let’s chuck out some pathetic Europhobe nonsense.

Seen a few comments and couldn’t be bothered, but enough is enough.

Sorry for tipping you over the edge Rich 😂

To be fair, as someone who left the UK in 2005 and has lived in Italy since. The UK in the last few years would be the last place to have the moral high ground when it comes to state sponsored corruption.

There's possibly an even a laster last place. 😉

You'd think 10+ years of Tory rule would clue people up about such things, especially during the pandemic. But nah, let's bash Italy instead.

somebody posted a few pages back that the Italian justice system is so corrupt that he must be innocent

Same poster also went on about how people on here jump to conclusions for similar conspiracies about our players

Only thing he says is that Zaniolo gambles, even amidst him throwing a lot of shit around trying to get it to stick to a long list of players he stops short of saying Zaniolo bet on football matches.
