I thought only the drop-shadow lion badge had been trademarked and this one was only shown by someone called Balaban's Ball-sack. The warning signs should have been that the Birmingham Mail never has a scoop and people weren't all over this on here already. Some may still and argue Heck's decisions have been right (trying to make more money from the stadium we have, trying to keep our income strong while we are exceeding our targets on the pitch, and abolishing the lion that faces the wrong way)... I disagree they're all the right decisions, but can see their point of view. But surely we can all agree his communication on all these matters has been poor (or worse). I think the badge situation is possibly the worst example, as it was the easiest of the messages to deliver. It doesn't cost the fan money (kind of), it doesn't impact the match day experience, it doesn't affect our on pitch performance, and the new badge was not universally liked and relatively new so not really anything we'd got attached to. It was the easiest thing for him to communicate and make a success of. And he's failed miserably. Silence since he said we'd be seeing the badge a few weeks after Christmas.
