Hopefully Liverpool doesn't get West Ham now..

Guarantees an English team in the Semi.

How is this difficult?

How do you consistently manage to find the most depressing available opinion? It's actually quite a skill 😅

Not strictly true in fairness, they support some of the off the field decisions whereas negative nellies like me think the off field stuff hasn't been great

Because Liverpool is huge favourite against everyone in that competition....they are 50% favourites to win it all.

West Ham can get through as well which would be far better...

It's far better for our odds they don't draw each other.. it's not difficult.

Bayern is a tough game on paper, they haven't been that great this season, they barely beat United in both group games.

Yeh Arsenal will fancy beating them over 2 legs.

I can see a City Arsenal Semi.

No.

It's better for our odds to guarantee an English team in the semi. Especially as Germany only have one team.

If they don't draw each other, they could both lose and get 0 points.

If they do, it guarantees points. It's not difficult.

You don't understand how probabilities work.

Exactly. It's really a basic concept.

We're looking at probabilities and Liverpool is odds on to get through. Against everyone left. Which means West Ham can't earn more points. It's quite simple really.

If you're talking about guaranteed results yes, if you're talking Probabilites it's worse A Liverpool is huge favourite...which means it's bad..

If you take a probability vs a dead cert, the dead cert wins every time.

100% is greater than any probability.

It's irrelevant though.

Lets hope West Ham can beat Leverkusen 😃

Even if they don't, all it takes is for Liverpool to keep going for 5th to be nailed on tbh

I really think you're overthinking it.
