I'd have to wear ear protectors if she wanted to sing this during a spot of DHUTWU.

Awful.

The Grand **** Final takes place Saturday 13th May

In the exiting run up to the night we've all been waiting for, I will titillate you with a selection of my favourite songs from this year's event.

Firstly, I give you...Germany

I like the Bowie/Rammstein crossover, it' will probably do crap now.

This is my current favourite, its no Little big though.

The blonde in this duo is trying her hardest  to hide a massive pair of juggs.

But it's too late.

Frankie Goes To Hollywood seem to be getting panned. I wondered if it was because of their performance, but no it's because they only played 1 song and that song was Welcome to the Pleasuredome.

Well firstly I assume they played as much as they were asked to play and secondly Welcome to the Pleasuredome is a mighty fine Frankie tune. Much rather them play that than Relax.

Don't understand the criticism really.

Frankie goes to Hollywood we’re on tonight. Effectively the launch show. Did welcome to the pleasure dome and they were excellent.

Holly Johnson has just announced 2 solo dates, Liverpool and London. I guess he doesnt really need Gill, O'Toole, Nash and Rutherford, people will pay to see him. I was a fairly big fan of FGTH in the mid 80s but I would have to squint to recognise Nash and Gill.

I recall in the first edition of his biography he was fairly shitty about "the lads" and the court case, I had the opportunity to talk to him years later and he said then it was water under the bridge and best to be forgotten. Probably not enough water under the bridge.

Serbia, Finland, Israel and of course Croatia my faves from that selection.

Sweden sounds and looks like a winner, surely top 3 at least.

Nailed on that I've probably just listed the 5 acts eliminated tonight then...

Finland, Israel, Croatia. All my favourites always go out at this stage though.

Reckon we're of a similar mind. Finland was far better on stage than recorded. I'd be punting on that as a winner. That and Israel are nailed on to go though. Croatia and Serbia, flip of a coin.

Croatia's singer sounded pissed. Which is a shame, as it's clearly an all-time classic but don't think it came across all that well compared to the video.

Don't think Sweden has much apart from it being Loreen and the name recognition. Good, but wouldn't be in contention sung by someone else.

That Ordinary World was brilliant.
