I think he's got loads of potential, and I think a Championship loan gives him both the level of competitiveness he'll benefit from, and also help his transition from US football to English football. Its a learning curve. Looking at his (now deleted) tweet though, it does seem to suggest a plane was involved in any potential loan. John Posted July 19, 2023 Share Posted July 19, 2023 Chelsea have done this sort of thing for years. He's a prospect for the future, rather than one for now. Why would he be given additional time off when he wasn't involved in international duty? Why would Emery not want him in the pre season tour if he's in his plans for the season.
