For him to walk away from a multi million pounds contract then either he has something better lined up or be really, really hated being at Brighton. Brighton are probably happy for him to go as he is an over rated manager (I said this a few pages ago and was piled on). Conversely, he probably doesn't feel he can reinvest the money raised, and will dilute his image from this apparent next level manager to a mid / lower table PL manager. In his first full season, he finished 11th and 48 points, a worrying fall from 6th and 62 points, which is a team he inherited from Potter.
