Another game decide by VAR. It’s really sapping the fun out of football.

Someone said it the other day, the problem with these ridiculous VAR decisions is that 50% of people are happy about them.

We really need some managers and players who have benefited from them to call them out as ridiculous.

Couldn’t agree more. Anyone can see that that isn’t a red card. It’d be amusing if they rescinded the red card after the game.

Every european domestic league should transfer officials and VAR operators on a weekly basis. The lot running the show on these isles are ruining the product every single week now. I dont like West Brom but theyve been screwed there. 40 replays and not one show Periera using excessive force. Yet that Maguire one on Batshuayi last season is fine because its Man Utd

Can't shake the feeling that one or more of these VAR officials and refs has been bought by some betting syndicate.

Said the same in the VAR thread. Dont think it's happening but it would be very easy. The whole thing is very shadowy.

That happened to Villa a couple of years ago, keeper full on punched our striker in the head.

The text is another problem with VAR. Everything is expected to be sorted now “how did VAR miss this?”.
For all it’s intrusion into the game people expect that it at least doesn’t miss huge errors.

Engels at Bournemouth?

Yeah its an absolute farce. No accountability whatsoever, just seedy little men in a room re-refereeing games making massive errors ignorantly or on purpose. Really worrying either way, it leaves the sickest of feelings in your stomach after games nowadays

100% agree.

Like today we need Roy to say that he didn’t think it was a red card... but he’ll probably then have broken rules about commenting on the referring. What a mess.
