At what point do supporters storm the gates of Glazer Palace? The Glazers are sucking the blood right out of the club.

That's part of the problem

The glaziers are doing nothing different from what they've done their whole 1t years in charge, including the years where they won the leagues and champions leagues

Utd have money, they're just a mess, they're rudderless, it's Woodward that's done it, knows how to sign an official  tractor engine partner in outer Mongolia but couldbt sign a decent footballing contract if his life depended on it, he's the rot

Saw a guy on my Facebook last night complaining the revenue has dropped so in order to still make their dividends the glaziers had cut the wage bill and that was why utd are struggling, that would be man utd with the 4th highest wage bill in Europe... The glaziers taking money out damaging the club is a myth, always has been

The irony being that utd are the ones who wanted FFP and pushed for all this bollocks because they knew they generated the biggest revenue, went revenue crazy and put football 2nd and this is the result... You just love to see it

Come on Tranmere! Big night for the club with the winner playing Man Utd on Saturday.

My suggestion intoTranmere:-  Corey Blackett-Taylor our ex Villa U23 winger is starting!

Hoping it's going be our night :)

Quote

They say FA Cup replays no longer matter but try telling that to a Tranmere team that lived up to the club's rich giant-killing traditions.

Paul Mullin, a second half substitute, scored the goal in extra-time that sent last season's finalists tumbling out at the first hurdle but it would be wrong to single one man out for special praise on a night when those in white-and-blue ran themselves to a standstill.

This famous old club from The Wirral have had their travails in League One this season but the FA Cup has enlivened them and their reward for toppling Watford could not be bigger: Manchester United are next up and what wonderful possibilities their visit conjures.
Manny Monthe turns 25 on Sunday and the Cameroon defender will have a birthday to remember against United; he scored the first goal and his mountainous display provided the foundation for Tranmere to build what turned out to be, according to manager Micky Mellon, 'a fantastic night.'

It was apparent from the early stages which side wanted it more. Watford, who made wholesale changes after Tuesday's exertions at Aston Villa, were apathetic for large swathes of the game and they scarcely deserved the goal from substitute Kayden Hinds that forced extra-time.

'We would have preferred to have gone through,' said Nigel Pearson, who was magnanimous in defeat and lavished praise on Mellon. 'You have to earn the right to play. It was a bit of a reality check for some of them – a wake-up call. Welcome to the man's game. But well done Tranmere.'
Tranmere started with plenty of fizz Corey Blackett-Taylor, a lively runner from midfield, was the first to try his luck in the 22nd minute with a shot that fizzed over the bar; he missed a better chance in the 28th minute but fluffed his lines from 10 yards after pouncing on a loose ball.

Perseverance, however, paid off and Monthe, who had scored in the initial game at Vicarage Road which ended in a 3-3 draw, fired Tranmere in front in the 36th minute. He enjoyed it as did Mellon, who celebrated by waving his arms like windmills.

Watford improved marginally in the second half and secured parity when Hinds bundled in from close range after a goalmouth scramble but Tranmere refused to lose heart and could have won it in normal time but squandered three glorious chances, the best of which fell to Mullin, who hit a post.

Fortunately, it did not matter. In the 104th minute, a cross came from the left and Mullin dared not miss. He didn't, steering his effort beyond Watford keeper Daniel Bachmann to spark bedlam in the stands and fire supporters' dreams of toppling United.

Mellon, understandably, was exultant but he was not prepared to get carried away about his chances of felling the most famous giant of all. Experience tells him to beware a United team that is being written off as vulnerable.

'They are a fantastic football club and will come here very professional,' said Mellon. 'I've seen the other side of that when I was at Shrewsbury and they came like robots, did the job and got out of town. I know that is the threat they possess.

'We have to go out there and understand that is what will come here. They are an unbelievable football club and we are a League One club – at the bottom end of League One – but we are going to give it everything we've got.

'What we do know is that we will be up against a formidable outfit. We will try to represent the club again and the players will run their socks off again and who knows?'

The dream is very much alive.

Well Watford has two crushing defeats in less than a week. Cannot see that Boding well for their morale.

hopefully them and us swap recent form and we can jump well clear come end of Feb.

The conspiracy theory at the moment is that the Glazers won't change anything at the club because it's taking all the heat off them

Nobody is talking about them anymore and it's Woodward and Solksjaer getting the blame
