Every month there is a cracking title fight, I know Dana has his haters but credit where credit is due.

Boxing has been soiled by dodgy supplements, dodgy judges and worst of all, Youtubers.

I've been a massive boxing fan for about 15 years, Naseem, Ricky, Froch and Groves, Khan, Brook, Joshua, Fury then some of the bigger international names like Floyd, triple G, Canelo, Ward etc.. maybe I haven't kept up to date with it enough but it feels like most of these fighters haven't been replaced by the younger generation and there's no standout British fighters anymore either apart from Fury. Boxing also seems to have been massively affected by Covid where UFC hasn't so much.

It feels like UFC has all the characters now and nearly none of the politics.

That was a truly epic card. Was there and there was maybe 30s of cat calling during the early Randy Costa fight when he boneheadedly decided to grapple. His girl was behind us and the groan she let out when he did that was so telling. Kept pulling loudly for her man after though, star.

Tua/Sugar and Pena stole the show. Security had to physically push/escort Tua out of the arena to stop him taking beer form fans, hilarious. Great main card fight with a hell for leather first round in the main event. Great to see Olivera finally getting some recognition.

Completely one sided and sad to see, where to next for wonderboy ..... bulk up a bit and fight Jake Paul maybe 💵

It's a real shame. He's fought grapplers before but he was so good at managing the distance and picking his strikes. It seems like he's more worried about being taken down than he is about doing his thing.

In all honesty, the UFC needs to be a bit stricter on the scoring & refereeing of the ground game. Belal did try to chase the submission, but when Burns fought Wonderboy he pretty much sat on him for 3 rounds with no real intent.

I thought he dealt with the first TD attempt well, landed a decent kick, business as usual but yeah BM just got to him and sat a fair bit but did try to sub him. I think the scoring has to pretty much stay as is but the refs should be getting the fight back on.

Kattar v Giga was a cracker last weekend.

Buzzing for 270. Ngannou v Gane incredibly tough to call. Francis can end it if he lands that one punch but Gane is so technical and fast for his size. I just hope that Francis' head is still in it considering he wants out if he doesn't get the improved contract.

Would like to see McLovin keep his belt v Figueiredo but I don't think he will.

Gane is such a smart controlled fighter too, he edges it for me, I think he will frustrate FN.

Can't wait for this epic 272....

Moreno v Figueiredo was a great fight. Feel like Moreno should have won it for me but I guess the kbockdowns edged it for Figueiredo.

Ngannou v Gane was okay. I think it was expected that Francis would have leaned on the grappling a bit more once it was obvious that his knee was knackered. Wasn't quite the spectacle that I'd hoped but still a good fight.

Anyone try getting the pre-sale tickets for UFC London? The prices were insane. £88 for seats right at the back of the arena. Looking at around £150 at least for half decent seats. Tickets ended up selling out in seconds anyway but that's just ridiculous. Not sure how much of a say the UFC has in ticket prices, but it isn't a good look when there's all this drama around fighter pay going on too.

Yikes, £160 ish used to get you to at least row 15 in main-stand. Times have changed. Also getting in on the presale a day before general sale is almost a must
