We're a championship club with no money. What do you expect?

Nothing.

Just pointing out that is a cringing list of players.

Fwiw, Thank McGrath we won't actually be signing one of them as they are below our standard of the type of player that we actually need right now.

True.

Didn't Wyness state that we'd only be signing players who would improve our starting 11 as our squad dept was very good as it is?

Yep exactly this.

And they are not players that we might even need in 6 months time either if all goes to plan.

Earlier in the window we were linked with Stephane Bahoken, he was not in the Strasborgh squad today.

Birmingham mail from earlier in the month.

Aston Villa are taking a look at Stephane Bahoken as a January loan option according to reports in France.

The Strasbourg striker is out of contract at the end of the season and could leave the Ligue 1 club this month.

Bahoken, 25, has started nine matches and scored four goals this season.

He joined Strasbourg from Nice in 2014 and also had spells with St Mirren and Grasse.

Think everyone knows this FFP rule was just a ruse to protect the so call big clubs after Man City and Chelsea ruined Man United and Arsenals party, and PSG tried to buy the European Cup.

If they really wanted to make things fair, they should just set the same limit for everyone. Every club has 100m transfer budget and they decide how they want to split that between fees and wages. This would also drive down agent fees who are getting more money than the players when you consider each agent is taking a cut from a number of his clients.

Also setting a maximum sponsorship budget, that way a mega rich company can maybe sponsor 3 or 4 teams rather than give it all to one.

It sounds like you are talking salary cap?

He has only 6 months left of his contract, and don't get playing time. A signing/loan for the rest of the season could help us. Not easy getting a proven striker with no money, and the in form Hogan gives players like Ulloa/Wells little hope of starting position, and they might not want to join us, even if the clus agree.
