Shhh, don't mention this but he was brought up in a council flat and went to a comprehensive school. it's just that earlier people were suggesting you you know, it was a purge of the working class....

This somehow does not disqualify you from being a thronging word removed.

Wes bloody Streeting does not deserve defending and he is not working class, he just is not - and as for Rayner, she forgot about the working class a long time ago - what is consistent in all this is the pit of gobshites that are stamping on each other in a desperate attempt to survive - the snake pit is eating itself and it is a disgusting thing to watch.

Given the choice Starmer's wife is hotter, but perhaps she doesn't whisper into his ear the things he wants to hear

Has STWS noticed that everyone has been banned from everyone else's house on the orders of the Government for what seems like the last twenty years?

I was going to post an article from the New Statesman, where an unnamed shadow cabinet member was putting the blame at the door of Jenny Chapman. Having sat through many CLP meetings with her, it's not hard to see why the Labour Party is in such a mess if she's whispering in Keith's ear.

Seriously, people worry that the Corbynites still haven’t given up, but the cult of the war criminal is becoming a full blown religion.

I fully expect 500 years from now, whole swathes of england will have a deep seated belief we’re 40 minutes from death so we need to acquire a large London property portfolio whilst dressed like an ageing prog rocker on Sky Arts.

Tracy Brabin walking away with the West Yorkshire mayor position.  So another by-election coming up in Batley & Spen.

Looks to be closer than Hartlepool. Labour could retain it as long as they keep the desperately unpopular Starmer away from the campaign

Ignoring the Starmer rubbish, i'm not convinced they will win it. Majority of 3.5k, 8k Brexit votes probably in the mixer

What rubbish? He's very unpopular in opinion polls and was cited as the reason most people didn't vote Labour in Hartlepool.

Typically you concentrate on the wrong part of the post. I'm ignoring the Starmer rubbish, it's not particularly relevant to looking at the last result. Labour haven't been that popular in Hartlepool for 11 years. It's only 2015 that they'd have won it if it was a straight two way fight, That Starmer rubbish.

Same point here, If the bizarre Woolly trousered Yorkshire Brexit Party don't stand (6.5K votes) and the Brexit Party sorry Reform UK (votes 1.5k) collapse further, those votes will naturally transfer to the Tories, effecitvely they are 4k behind before they start
